Esther redesigned the internal layout of my home which included a granny flat to the side of the property for my Mother. Her abilities to understand the brief, her knowledge of ensuring the design would practically work, and her abilities of bringing the design of the home up to modern design standards and adding value to the property was excellent. I can not thank Esther and her team at Di Oro Interiors enough for helping us re arrange the layout of the property ahead of the work commencing, along with the interior design. I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest of clients but I was always replied to and helped with any query extremely efficiently and never felt it was too much trouble. I admit I took a bit of convincing from my wife to go for Interior Decoration after we completed on our house purchase. In my simple mind, the house was good enough to inhabit from day 1. Three months later, I realise how wrong I was. We were very lucky to find Esther and Di Oro Interiors. The house has been absolutely transformed, massive financial value added to it instantly, making the spend more than worth it. Esther was incredibly professional, with excellent attention to detail. During that 3-month period, whenever we called her to ask about anything or express anxiety or concern about any aspect of the work, she heard us so patiently, remained very calm and always gave us assurance. This took stress off of us. We thought we didn't really know what we wanted at the start but her skillful inquiry allowed us to arrive at the point where it was clear to us what we really wanted. They took all of it - colour schemes, items to retain in the house, general preferences - into consideration, weaving together our desires & expectations with their skill, expertise and eyes for excellence and detail. In the end, we feel we have moved into a house done up interiorly to the highest quality, creating an ambience that is now totally different from what we saw when we got the property three months ago. I met Esther by chance one day about 15 months ago and it soon became apparent that her expertise coupled with her professionalism would provide just the kind of help I so needed for the daunting task of a major refurb of our home. Fantastic service , very professional , kept us updated throughout. Easily contactable and nothing was too much trouble ! Esther is very talented , and came up with things that we never thought of . This is the first time I’ve used an interior designer as I thought it may be out of my reach , but on our first conversation Esther had saved me money on our design . Esther has been an absolute delight to work with. From our very first meeting, we immediately realised Esther's incredible eye for detail, professionalism and passion for design. We had the enormous task of completely renovating our Victorian property, and required Esther's assistance to design our Drawing Room, Dining Room, and change 5 rooms into 3 bedroom suites, all including Ensuite's and Dressing Rooms. We were soon able to put our own dreams into reality, with her continued advice, support and amazing attention to detail. Working with Esther was an absolute pleasure. After deciding to refurbish our front room but unsure of the best way forward we engaged Esther to provide some initial ideas and options and, following several visits to our home, Esther produced a mood board which formed the basis for the design. Esther worked with us to translate the mood board into a defined plan with timescales and an agreed budget. Throughout the whole process, Esther was able to provide guidance and a helping hand in enabling us to make decisions on the various aspects of the project. At no time did we feel pressured and it was good to work with someone who allowed us to talk through the various options. Inevitably a complete refurbishment in a 1930s house is a messy business particularly when floor sanding and the dreaded black mortar are involved. Esther’s project management and organisational skills meant that this was kept to a minimum and the work was undertaken professionally and courteously. We were impressed with Esther’s commitment to the project to the extent that she was still working late on in the evening to ensure the work was progressing. She took care of engaging all of the tradespeople who worked on the project and the standard of their work was truly outstanding. She was there at all times to supervise and to open and lock up so that we could carry on as normal without having to wait in or change work commitments. Results were amazing. A complete transformation of the room way beyond our expectations. We would recommend Esther without hesitation and would definitely work with her again on a future project.

In April this year, Esther undertook the complete transformation of my guest room and some necessary work in my study area and the master bedroom. Not only does she design the project, after full consultation with her client about preferences and budget, and source and supply the components of the scheme, but manages the work throughout.
