Emily and Nicki really listened and understood what I needed the space to provide for the family and offered solutions and ideas that fitted with my style and budget. I have never used an Interior Design Service before and I was impressed with how much work and detail is involved. I will definitely be using Gasson & Phillips again. A friendly and professional team who are always quick to respond to queries and can help with both small and large projects.

Nicki has helped me update number of rooms in my house; the hallway, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, the dining room and outside patio area. She is very responsive, conscious of budget and gives me the confidence to go beyond my comfort zone. I've learnt alot in the process and it's been really good fun seeing all the rooms transformed. They've all worked well together and now really reflect my personal style.

We contacted Gasson & Phillips when we moved to a new house and needed help with bringing it to life. Having never used an interior designer before we were slightly apprehensive but Emily and Nicki were so easy to work with, professional and personable we needn’t have worried. Pulling ideas together and creating concepts for each room was a fun process and they understand that as much as creating a lovely home, it has to work with family life. We really appreciated being able to bounce ideas off them both and also the various tradespeople they have recommended have all been excellent. We have been delighted with their work so far and also have a clear path ahead for next steps.

Emily and Nicki have recently helped me pull together the look for several areas of the house. This wasn't a clean slate project and I already had a number of items in place. They did a great job of working around these while suggesting new things to consider. I like playing around with interiors but no longer have time for experimentation; working with them got me to my ideal outcome as efficiently as possible. I was a bit apprehensive about working with someone remotely, but they really took the time to understand room orientation, the furniture I already had, etc. Their suggestions have been practical, eco-friendly, and on the mark. It helped that I was drawn to the style shown in their portfolio, so I felt they would understand the look I wanted. They've been a great sounding board for my ideas, and gave me options, so I never felt creatively constrained. They've instead helped me to validate and narrow the field of choices. They were also very responsive and worked to my timeframe. I didn't have a fixed budget but letting them know what things I already had (and liked) gave them an idea of what products would work well for me. I'm looking forward to implementing their recommendations and getting their inputs as I make my way through the rest of the house.

Emily and Nicki are fabulous to work with. They have an amazing eye for what will work and come up with great ideas for spaces. They can work with a blank canvas or be guided by your ideas and input. They really are very flexible and adaptable to the project they are working on. They work well together and they go above and beyond expectations to get the result you want. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They also work well with whatever budget you have in mind and are also good at reusing existing pieces where you want to keep certain pieces of furniture. I would definitely use them again.

We asked Emily and Nicki to help with choices for the interior of our new build house in Guildford. We wanted to achieve a bright and contemporary interior starting from nothing. Emily and Nicki helped us to understand how to use and combine paint colours, flooring and fabrics in ways we would never have thought about. They asked us to browse Houzz and other sites to help them to understand our tastes. They organized samples of curtain fabric, carpet, tile and timber floor and brought large pieces of plain paper painted with various suggested colours for the walls. From these, we could get a very good idea of what would go well together. The result is some beautiful colours, fabrics and flooring. We can go from room to room and see both continuity and contrasts. Emily and Nicki have great contacts. We were very pleased with the professionals they introduced us to who made and hung curtains for us and who supplied the timber flooring. They also worked professionally and helpfully with our other contractors. It was a brilliant experience and I'm so glad we had Emily and Nicki to help. Thank you!

Emily and Nicola have truly helped make our house a home. As somebody who is not very creative, I have always chosen neutral colours and the house never felt "finished" as I didn't know how to accessorise......... I also didn't have the time to invest in researching lots of websites. Emily and Nicola were excellent at listening to my "blockers" and gauged very quickly the look and feel I wanted to achieve. For each room they offered a variety of options gradually easing me out of my "neutral" comfort zone. They provided mood boards, links to furniture/accessory sites and fabric samples making the process incredibly easy. We now have a variety of colours, patterns and textures throughout the house (including wallpaper which previously I would not have even entertained!). Everybody who has visited our home, since we have worked with Emily and Nicola, have been extremely complimentary on the transformation.

We recently moved and I engaged with Emily & Nicki to take control of the design of our Kitchen, living & dining space, a large but difficult space with many components that didn't have a the best use of the space or flow. They provided local recommendations on the kitchen and then designed the layout for the family & dining space. The design works really well and provides the family living space we needed. They took my ideas into account but also challenged and provided lots of great interior recommendations, I loved the Ivy & supporting sample boards. The project is still work in progress but I cant wait to see it all finished!

Absolutely brilliant! Emily Phillips Interiors helped us achieve our lovely home with guidance and advice on everything from the overall concept design - all the way through to the space planning, wall colours, fabrics, all of the fixtures and fittings and the furniture. Emily worked on the interior for my sandwich bar/wine bar in Tetbury. I had a single idea -the wallpaper- and an idea of the vibe and that was it. Emily brought it altogether beautifully and within budget. She kept me focused on the concept, produced beautiful mood boards which precisely captured what I wanted and Helped source the exact bespoke pieces. I love the result and highly recommend her.
