Emily was absolutely incredible. Her knowledge of suppliers, impeccable taste, and responsiveness to our needs - in both taste and budget - all came together in one wonderful package. We were so very happy with the rooms she designed for us and couldn’t recommend her enough!

We asked Emily to help us right at the beginning of a kitchen renovation project. We wanted to completely change the layout of our kitchen in our terraced house in Wimbledon, but not do anything structural at all. We had a limited budget, two full time jobs and two children under 3, so what we needed was someone to guide us through thinking about what we wanted and our priorities - and to give us a healthy dose of reality! Emily spent time with us in the house, gave us a detailed questionnaire to fill in and delivered back 5 different options for layout which were far beyond what we would have been able to imagine ourselves. She refined the plans based on our feedback and gave us lots of advice on next steps. In just a few days worth of consultancy work from Emily, we felt so much more confident and equipped to move forward with our project. We are now in our new kitchen (based on option 3!) and we are delighted. I would thoroughly recommend Emily's services. She saved us time, stress, money and many many arguments!

Emily Rennie and team have been just what I needed to support & make reality my family’s London home creation. She provides concise and swift feedback to help us work out our vision. Emily has a skill to translate ideas into reality and within budgets. In addition often we have needed a swift view on a short deadline and she has never let us down. Strongly recommend Emily Rennie Design services. She also helped us make a basement project come to life with advice on lighting, design, and lay out. Crucially helping us to not make errors aswell. It is down to Emily our ground floor bathroom looks like a fun place to be ! She helped also to work out kitchen plans for a future project and we took all her advice on flooring, lighting, decoration and on the more technical side of building works.

Emily gave us invaluable help in colour schemes for a large house renovation. She helped us to choose colours we would normally probably not think of, and in combinations that make perfect sense only after she guided us through the process. Emily also showed up great fabric combinations considering our existing furniture and curtains, she doesn't make you feel you need to go for the most expensive options and actually showed us some very cost effective material. Ours is quite a large refurbishment so we will have Emily back when we are through this phase. She knows her stuff and is a pleasure to deal with.

Emily’s advice and guidance was invaluable when it came to planning my new extension and, in particular, the kitchen layout. She is a great sounding board and connected me with excellent kitchen suppliers as well as suggesting suitable finishes, which made the whole process easier for me. She has an amazing eye for style and colour and provided exactly what I needed to ensure the end product became something extra special. I cannot recommend Emily enough, she was supportive throughout our project, from initial drawings, through COVID delays (inc. delivery times of products), our indecision or changing opinions, through to completion. Emily has a wide range of experience, from new builds to our Edwardian flat, and happy to apply various styles. We found her really adaptable to our tastes, advising us where we as a couple diverged. Emily has great attention to details throughout a home, bearing in mind practical aspects and creating design features, and is flexible in giving options or providing feedback on things we explored ourselves. Throughout the project, with it being our first family home and property as a couple, us having a baby midway, and COVID this year, Emily was our rock (together with our builder). If you are not sure which designer you want, or if you need a designer at all, look at Emily's website and have a first conversation. It took a lot of pressure off our build and confidence that we will have a home at the end of it, that we can start living in straight away.

She proposes innovative ideas, pulls together beautiful & timeless design schemes and produces professional CAD drawings for us on a regular basis. She has a positive can-do attitude, and develops good relationships with both the office team and the construction teams.

Excellent plans for 3 different rooms with different purposes. Creative thinking to come up with solutions for multi purpose space. Great eye for colour. We love the designs and style as well as options Emily suggested. Emily was respectful of our budget and listened to what we needed. Project completed on time and to budget.

It has been a very positive and productive experience working with Emily. This was the second project she had asked me to work on, making the curtains, roman blinds and soft furnishing for the total refurbishment of a Kensington flat. Emily listens to her clients needs, keeping to the brief but gently offering fresh and imaginative ideas too. She sourced some amazing fabrics and was a master of mixing colours to give wonderful results. She communicated well with me and so I was always aware of the exacting standards required along with completion dates. It was a daunting project that was handled efficiently and professionally and it was great to see the transformation from start to finish, to be involved and see the end results achieved by Emily.
