I didn't know what to do as regards to my windows in my brand new home..curtains or blinds.. With Vanessa's guidance I decided on Roman blinds. Vanessa provided me with a vast choice in fabrics and color. I didn't have to worry about measuring or fitting as that was done through her team. Expertly might I add. Although it was over the Xmas period, everything was completed within wks. And well within my budget. I am very pleased with the outcome.

My wife and I really enjoyed working with Vanessa at Estervan. She listened to our brief and delivered a creative design and layout that we can't wait to implement in our home office. She definitely produced work that we couldn't have done ourselves -- which is why we chose an interior designer in the first place. The service isn't cheap but is reasonable compared with the cost of building works, new furniture, etc. Vanessa was always highly professional and pleasant to work with. We can recommend her highly.

I asked Vanessa of Estervan to come and check my kitchen extension project. I was looking for ideas on layout and colour before committing to building work. Vanessa's clear thinking and ideas were very helpful. She made some clever lighting suggestions and was able to make plan recommendations which greatly improved the look and flow of the design. She also helped with kitchen and dining room colours and we used the Paint and Paper Library colour palette based on a Lewis and Wood print. I was very glad to have her professional assistance at a crucial point of the project.

My husband and I downsized last year and Vanessa from Estervan Interior Design helped us plan what furniture, artwork and accessories we could take with us. Vanessa provided scale drawings of our new home and from a specification she drew up, incorporating photographs and dimensions of our possessions, she planned out what pieces would fit into the new property comfortably, providing labelled furniture layouts of each room. Vanessa's drawings were extremely accurate and detailed and this made the decision process so much easier for us. She also supplied a new bespoke stool and new armchairs which were all sized perfectly for the the sitting room. She organized the re-upholstery of our sofa having suggested a lovely fabric to complete the scheme. Vanessa took the time to really understand what we were looking for and couldn't have been more helpful. She was a pleasure to work with, went the extra mile and I would highly recommend her services.

My name is Paul Cummings and I recently completely re-furbished a detached, grade 2 listed seven bedroom farmhouse set in one and a half acres. This included the conversion of a barn to an indoor swimming pool with an upper floor bedroom and en-suite; a new orangery; air source and ground source underfloor heating; complete rewire, lighting and sockets; a bespoke kitchen; new double glazed windows; a vaulted extension that joins the barn to the original house; decoration throughout; and a large block paved courtyard with automatic oak gates. The project lasted approximately 1 year and cost £750k. Our builder project managed the building work and Estervan Interior Design was recommended to us for all the interior design work. Working with Vanessa at Estervan was an absolute pleasure. Her ability to pick out the best interior solution for each of the rooms was excellent. We had many practical discussions on lighting, colours, materials and finishes, including curtaining and flooring, and she suggested many possibilities we had not previously considered. Vanessa is a good listener and has the skill to interpret what you are saying and make it happen beyond your expectation. She also has the rare skill of being able to tactfully explain to a customer when something they want to do will only work well with some subtle changes. Vanessa also knows exactly where value can be found from within her extensive supply chain. At the end of the day, the acid test as to whether you have got it right is what your friends and family say. In our case we have received many great compliments, and when the same people say they are going to use the same colours and design ideas in their own homes and do so, it says it all. Vanessa really cares about what she does and represents true value for money. We could easily have spent much more making expensive mistakes if it wasn’t for her knowledgeable and professional guidance.
