Since 2015 Field & Co Interior Design Ltd have been creating dream homes. Whether you are redecorating a single room or renovating an entire home, with the help of our team of creative interior designers, highly skilled craftspeople and suppliers we will work within your budget to make your dreams a reality. Based from our Oxfordshire studio Field & Co cover most of the South of England including the Cotswolds, The Chilterns, Home Counties, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire & London. We pride ourselves on the approachable, relaxed way in which we work whilst ensuring the utmost professionalism which enables us to give the very best in both customer service and interpreting of ideas. Your dedicated designer who will work with you from concept to completion will take great care to get to know you, really finding out about your tastes and how you live – enabling them to create a unique space that’s perfect for you, not just aesthetically but practically too. We love mixing the old with new, using pattern, colour and texture in eclectic and creative ways as well as coming up with practical solutions for storage, layout and materials so that a space can really work for you. Field & Co have sourced accounts with some of the UK’s finest fabric designers, many of which are made right here in the UK – features, along with sustainability that are very important to us. We love to support British made goods where possible – supporting independent artisans whose products help to add character and make a space unique. In addition to this our extensive industry knowledge and contacts enable us to work as cost effectively as possible, helping to avoid costly mistakes you may incur if going it alone. I did quite a bit of research to find an Interior Designer and invited 3 to our home but the minute we met Michaela we knew she was right for us so I cancelled the other two! We had moved to a Cotswold property in much need of renovation and a reconfiguration of the living space together with a loft conversion and a bit of extension on the ground floor. From day one Michaela totally understood what we were trying to achieve; a warm and cosy home with a calm Cotswold style and enough space for our extended family to visit. The whole project took 2 years, from finding builders, getting planning permission and then creating the dream interior. Throughout the whole process Michaela held our hands, steered us in the right direction, gave us plenty of options and ideas together with time and space to make our choices. She is very professional, very knowledgeable, very patient and an expert in her field. Nothing was too much trouble, she took all the hassle away from choosing and ordering fabrics and furniture, carpets and rugs, accessories and lighting and all done with a smile, it was as important to her that we were happy with our home as it was to us. Her attention to detail is second to none, she stuck to the budget as near as possible and she has truly created a beautiful home that we are loving living in. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for a creative and thoughtful designer who really listens and goes the extra mile at every stage and so obviously loves her job.

We were extremely impressed with Michaela and what she helped us create in our front room. She was easy to speak to, totally understood the brief and went well beyond what we had expected in designing the room. She came up with so many good ideas, even created a 3D rendering of the room as it would look post completion with such accuracy it looked like a photo and genuinely identical to the finished product! God knows how many hours she put into the project but in our view she was worth every penny, we would use her again and have recommended her to friends and family.

I highly recommend Michaela from Field & Co. I have worked with her recently on a room that I was really struggling with and the end result is fantastic. First, she listens to what YOU want and really gets a feel for your style (and budget) so I feel that the room is very much mine. Secondly, she comes back after the initial briefing with a room plan consisting of CAD images of suggested layouts (very impressive and invaluable in visualising how a room will look), lots of ideas, material samples, details of furniture etc. She is very knowledgeable about products and gave great recommendations for material, lamps, rugs and furniture. She is well connected with curtain makers etc. She was really efficient in placing orders and keeping me updated of delivery dates. Michaela is incredibly thorough, hard working and quick to respond to messages. She is a really good listener and makes lots of suggestions but I never felt that she was forcing her ideas upon me. She was also very sensible about costs. Michaela gave me the confidence to make choices which I wouldn't have been brave enough to take on my own. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Michaela is highly approachable, very easy to work with, very intelligent and knowledgeable, very flexible, professional, creative, meticulous and thoughtful. From the moment I first met Michaela, I knew I had found the right person for the job. She was easy to work with, listened to the brief and designed us the most spectacular holiday home- combining creativity with the practicality we needed and within budget. Having created our perfect home, Michaela then spent time sourcing everything, liaising with the builders on details (to ensure sockets and switches were in the correct positions and advising on flooring), being on site to handle deliveries (including unforeseen problems that arose) and to ensure that the house was fully functional for our arrival. Michaela gave us very clear guidance on costs, timings and timescales- and was able to work well within all of these. Using Michaela was the best decision we made in the whole process of the build and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for a friendly, intelligent, creative, detailed and thoughtful designer.

Michaela at Field & Co is one of the most professional people I have ever worked with. We hired her to design and implement a full refurb on a holiday let in the Cotswolds and we are absolutely delighted with the results. From our first meeting where she took our brief to the project completion, every interaction with Michaela was positive, honest and professional. Her designs and colour schemes were creative, interesting and met our brief perfectly. She then managed the entire project, including builders and decorators and she managed to stick to budget and deliver on time. We were not based at the property and Michaela went out of her way to communicate with us so we always knew what was going on. She solved little problems as they arose and she was incredibly flexible. On a number of occasions she went well beyond what was required of her. The result is a beautiful property and a very happy client.

What seemed like a crazy idea at the time has now materiliased into a gorgeous transformation of part of the house thanks to the help of Michaela. We started with an idea of knocking down a supporting wall in the kitchen to create an open plan with dining area and lounge. We had some idea on what kitchen we wanted and a vague idea on colour scheme but that was it! Along came Michaela and fully understood the kind of look we were after so created a mood board which we loved and then a shopping list with furniture, curtains and accessories for me to order online (which was the nice easy bit for me). 6 months later we have a beautiful space which is fully co-ordinated, practical and just looks amazing. We would never have been able to create this look on our own. Michaela is very professional, friendly, has an amazing ability to retain information and is meticulous in her work. She thought of things that we hadn’t considered and supported us all the way. She liasied with tradespeople and when any mistakes were made she made sure they were put right. We are already talking about doing another room with Michaela and in fact don’t think we will stop until each room looks as good as the kitchen/diner.

We enlisted the help of Michaela for our open plan Kitchen/Diner and Lounge. From the very first point of engagement Michaela was outstanding. She took in all of our needs which was not an easy task considering me and my partner have very different views and tastes for the décor in our home and managed to come up with designs which we both absolutely loved. Michaela was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. She provided us with a brilliant ‘shopping list’ making it as easy as clicking a link and ordering all of the items for our home. She even sourced discount codes for us where possible and hunted out a lot of fantastic prices. Michaela helped us every step of the way and was always there at the end of the phone, email or text message with any queries we had no matter how big or small. She remained completely up to speed throughout the whole processes and helped us to chase down suppliers and speak to them when required. I cannot rate or recommend Michaela highly enough. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and have thoroughly enjoyed having Michaela with us every step of the way in transforming our very bland kitchen / diner and lounge into a truly wonderful home that we are proud of.
