Working with Meera has been a game changer for our project! I contacted her when our architect plans were raising a lot of questions and she suggested changes that simplified the architect plans in a way that just made so much sense, and it made me wonder why the architect had made things so convoluted! I guess the architect just tried to fit in what we'd asked for without asking any questions whereas it's clear Meera considers the practicalities of everyday life in her designs. Her suggestions actually shaved many thousands off our building costs which more than made up for her design fees, so we feel like we have really lucked out! She designed a few rooms for us and in the open plan kitchen, not only did she fully design the kitchen in beautiful detail but she also found space for a very cool pantry (our friends are well jel!). Even our builders and kitchen fitters have been very impressed by the clarity and detail of the plans she produced! We couldn't be happier with how it's all shaping up. The style suits us to a T and there are so many brilliant ideas that we would never have thought of ourselves which make the rooms feel really special. I honestly dread to think of the regrets and compromises we would have been left with if we'd not found Meera. Working with her changed our initially daunted outlook to one of excitement and we can hardly believe what a beautiful home we'll get to enjoy our lives in! She designed our kitchen and living area with an acute attention to detail and with many features that we did not think of. She has been so wonderful and patient with us and communication has been excellent. We haven't worked with an interior designer before, and Meera has really helped us to manage the process. Meera has given us the kitchen of our dreams! Her clever design transformed what previously felt like quite a dark, unloved place into a beautiful and welcoming space for living and entertaining. It feels bigger and brighter and yet at the same has more storage and feels more intimate. I don't know how she does it. We have had kitchens from specialist kitchen providers in the past but this was a completely different process and worth every penny. Meera thought about every last millimetre of the design, from the layout, building works and appliances through to the beautiful finishing touches that bring it all together. We are beyond thrilled with the results.

We contacted Meera after she came highly recommended by a friend, and are so pleased that we did. Our project was to transform an existing extension, with separate kitchen/dining room, into one open-plan kitchen/diner space. Meera’s vision in the design process was invaluable; whilst we were overwhelmed by the number and scope of the decisions involved, Meera helped to guide us through each step of the process. She assisted us in identifying what we needed and wanted, highlighting issues we would never have even considered, all the time considering our tastes and preferences. Meera took all of the stress out of the design process, and was worth every penny spent for her services. She created detailed designs and electrical plans, enabling us to hand these over to our builders (who were also brilliant) who skilfully turned her ideas into reality. The shopping list she provided us with was invaluable in helping us to ensure that the small details complemented and enhanced the kitchen and dining space. We have been blown away by how the space has changed. Our kitchen is unrecognisable, and it is no overstatement to say that the space has been completely transformed. It has surpassed our expectations and we are convinced that this is in large part a result of Meera’s help and guidance. Meera is wonderful to work with, professional and considerate, helpful and talented. If you are considering working with her, do it; you won’t regret it.

How is the smallest room in our house the most stylish AND most functional? Because Meera designed it! Meera has helped us turn our cold, dark, unloved integral garage into the utility room of dreams and we couldn’t be happier. From beautiful quartz and panelling, to underfloor heating and hidden airers, no attention to detail was spared. The result; style and function all at the same time and we could not have done it without Meera. The project spanned a couple of years from initial design to completion and Meera has kept in contact throughout, attended site to ensure the design was considered in all stages of the building work, and even helped us find local trades. Always patient, always helpful and has educated me on design along the way too. We have now worked with Meera on a number of rooms in our house and it has transformed our home. We cannot thank you enough for helping us make a beautiful home!

I found Meera through Instagram. I loved her kitchen and sense of style, and, when I realised that she was an interior designer, I immediately saved her details. I was looking for ideas for my single storey extension, I was going to have a new kitchen/diner/utility/snug. It was something I had been wanting to do for years and saving for. I now had planning permission, a builder was booked and I was ready to start making decisions. I was slightly overwhelmed with ideas and looks, and narrowing these down to actual choices was challenging. As I was going to be spending (what seemed to me to be) a significant sum on the extension, I wanted to get it right. I wanted it to look great. With no experience of overseeing a build, with a full time high pressured new job and significant commute, and a strict budget, I knew I needed Meera. Meera’s approach was so helpful and patient. At times I dithered, and she helped to give me the confidence to make decisions. She listened, asked good questions, was superb at presenting ideas and her vision and attention to detail is incredible. I couldn’t have done it without her. Infact, I wish I had got her involved before the planning permission was submitted. By the time the build started, I had a kitchen plan, a set of electrical drawings, a lighting design and a shopping list of materials to make the vision come to life. Meera provided links to suppliers and the products on their websites- and even passed on the benefit of some trade discounts. This helped so much and I can’t thank Meera enough for holding my hand through the process. As a result, I have an extension that I love, is full of character, and has changed the way I live in my house for the better. I can see her input, it sits so naturally with what I love, that I can see it as my vision too. I would wholeheartedly recommend Meera and will use her again. In fact, once the dust has settled from this build (it is almost done!), I look forward to working with her on the next project. I love being at home and it gives me so much pleasure to love my house more.

We haven't worked with an interior designer in the past but Meera really helped us navigate the process. I think it's really easy to see and like a million photos on Instagram/Pinterest etc but trying to decide what we wanted for each room and putting it together was really difficult for us. Meera's advice has been invaluable and both rooms are very different from what I would have "designed" myself and I mean this in the BEST possible way. We are lucky to live locally and have benefited from excellent recommendations for tradespeople too. We went with a different company for one job and we really regretted it - luckily, Meera's recommended company came and fixed it for us so swiftly too so we really trust her recommendations. I hope to work with her on the rest of the house in the future and I can genuinely say I'm excited to discuss her ideas.

We are so glad we brought Meera in to help with our renovation project. She made an impact from the very start, making some great suggestions just from our architect's plans. It was as if she put herself in our shoes and worked out how we would actually live and move about our home, thinking of everyday practicalities, how to avoid obstacles to a good layout and how we could maximise natural light in each room. Her knowledge of the building process is excellent, and she knew exactly what needed to be ready throughout the project, such as plumbing and wiring plans. I think without Meera and her expertise, not to mention attention to detail, we’d have been all at sea and a lot more stressed. The icing on the cake was her sourcing of trade pricing on many items which saved us money, effectively making her service very affordable. If you are debating whether you need Meera in your life...the answer is yes! We haven’t done a renovation/building work but contacted Meera during lockdown as we were fed up with how our house was working for us. It was a white box “blank canvas” and we just didn’t know where to start or what our style was. We had decorated a couple of rooms but they just weren’t working. We thought Meera would recommend a new paint colour, maybe a rug and some accessories...but it has been so much more than that! From designing custom made built in units, sourcing one of a kind rugs from Morocco, to specifying rewiring so the lighting works better. Meera has thought of everything and the results are just stunning. I walk into the rooms we have completed and cannot believe this is my house. We could never have achieved the same result without her. My only regret...not booking in Meera for my whole house! (...we are planning to!)

I cannot recommend Meera’s services highly enough. After 20 years of living in a house that never quite felt ‘us’, we enlisted her help to refurbish our downstairs rooms. She has transformed not only the way our living space looks, but also the way we feel when we are at home. As well as having the creative ideas and innovation to create room designs, she really thought about the whole picture, advising us on lighting and electric plans, building tips and sometimes correcting our builders! She is professional, honest and responsive to any queries. Without her input we wouldn’t have thought of the little details which have made such a difference and we’ve bought some amazing furniture we would never have considered without her suggestions.
