I hired Emma to help us figure out how to make the best use of our two reception rooms and create a stylish yet functional entrance and hallway. After spending many months in analysis paralysis, I knew we needed help! With two sessions, Emma came up with a terrific design, including layout, color scheme, ideas for lighting, guidance on joinery and ideas on soft furnishings. I'm really happy with the vision she created and am armed with enough direction now to execute. She helped us conceive of the space differently and made a creative choice about the overall use plan that hadn't occurred to us previously. While I'm still in the process of executing this design, I can't wait to see what it will look like when it's done. We feel more confident now spending our hard-earned cash now that we have the benefit of her help. I can also say she is professional and punctual. I would recommen her and am likely to use her again myself.

Emma was wonderful. Her visions and ideas added the perfect touches to make our house feel warm, inviting, and comfortable! Her natural eye for style allowed us to make some useful changes at the design stage which we wouldn’t have thought to do without her suggestions. If I could give more stars, I would! We recently renovated and I assumed I would be able to design the house myself. Fast forward to the end of the project and I just wasn’t happy with how it all looked. Despite going for a simple design, it was cold and lifeless. I was really upset as we had spent a lot of time and money on the house. I have been following Emma for years and, in despair, reached out to see if she could help me. 4 weeks later and she has utterly transformed the house. Some simple changes and the house is warm, stylish and I really love it! Emma also managed to come up with ideas that both my husband and I loved - which I hard as we have very different tastes!! My only regret is not speaking to Emma sooner! Emma is easy to communicate with, generous with her time and has an incredible eye for style and design!

Emma Gurner completely remodelled our bathroom which we are absolutely thrilled with. Her eye for design is unique and her use of colour and space has transformed a small area into one that has a feeling of spaciousness and tranquility. We cannot speak highly enough of her work.

Emma has been absolutely incredible. We didn't know where to begin with injecting some more colour and life into our home, and from materials and colours to reconfiguring rooms and sourcing furniture and artwork, everything she advised was absolutely spot on and always took into account our needs and budget. She was able to very quickly assess what could be reused/repositioned to make better use of what we already had, so we weren't starting from scratch. From practical advice to sourcing beautiful items we never would have found, everything she has done has made our home a more happy, comfortable, beautiful place to be.

I reached out to Emma for help with my house as although I had an idea of what needed to be done, I really needed her expertise and vision to bring it all to life. She listened to me patiently and came up with fantastic ideas - she is so talented and has an amazing sense of colour and style. I would highly recommend her and hope to work with her again in the near future when as we continue our renovation.

Emma from Folds has been working on my interior design for several rooms in my house. Her eye for detail, colour and design is exceptional. Once your rooms have the “Emma” touch they will never be seen in quite the same way again. There is a reason why so many shout about her on Instagram, to be honest I was reticent to write this review as she is one of those best kept secrets you want to keep to yourself. Every room Emma has meticulously designed makes me happy. There are colours I would never have chosen and combinations I would never dream of. I can’t wait to get Emma back to transform the rest of the house ... highly recommend

Working with Emma was incredible. We loved her approach to colour and her creative ability to work with our ideas and elevate them in ways we would never have considered. She was also able to work with our budget and helped us make selections that helped us to spend where it had most impact. We are left with a room that is happy and bright, with a mixture of colours and textures that really have impact! We love our new space, and when budget allows we look forward to having her input on other rooms in the house.

We needed someone to help us with design ideas for the ground floor of our house following an extension. Emma was wonderful to work with. She has a fantastic eye and encouraged us to step outside of our comfort zone, while being sensitive to our tastes and budget.
