Gail Race Interior Design

Having recently completed our first project with Gail Race we can honestly say what a pleasure it has been. Fantastic ideas and designs for us to bring to life throughout the manufacturing and installation process. Easy to communicate with and always responsive which really helps as projects develop and come to fruition. With thanks from all at Wrights Joinery and we're looking forward to working together on future projects.

Gail started working with us in early 2021. The project was a complete revamp of all the major rooms in our house. Our house is modern and has lots of glass so we wanted to show it off as its design deserved whilst making it practical for a large family to live in. Gail helped us source furniture, bespoke fitted furniture and work tops, new fireplaces and plinths, lighting, paints, rugs, soft furnishings and the overall colour schemes for each room. Our house has been transformed and we could not be more happy with the end result. Gail is easy to work with, very accommodating and knowledgeable on all aspects from choosing to sourcing all items. Our house is now a home and its transformation wonderful. i am very happy to share photos and chat to anyone about our project through an introduction from Gail.

I have worked with Gail on a number of projects where different items of furniture have been required. She is smart, accessible, responsive and truly talented, full of fabulous ideas and enthusiasm, easily understanding her clients briefs and turning them into a reality. Gail is an active member of Design Collective Chichester, she is able to use her experience and expertise to lead our skillshare events, enabling others to learn not only from her design ethos but also her professionalism with clients. Design Collective Chichester supports design professionals through gatherings, skill-sharing, and raising the profile of design in Chichester and the surrounding area.

Gail worked with us on a large scale refurbishments project of 20 apartments in Mayfair. Her brief was to create a modern Deco look to sit comfortably with the building's 1930s design, and to choose materials and furnishings for tough domestic use. Gail is efficient and clear thinking, with many years of experience of different styles of interior under her belt. She is very easy to work with and I could not recommend her more highly.

I would definitely recommend Gail Race Interiors. Having completed the build on my new home I was really unsure how to approach the interiors. Gail made it all seem manageable by prioritising the spaces and putting together a schedule for working through the house. I loved the wall and floor finishes she suggested to work with the exterior materials, it all hangs together brilliantly. All the finishing was done to a really high standard by Gail's recommended trades and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Gail worked with a combination of my current furniture and added to with new pieces, rugs and artwork. Gail made the whole process seem easy and enjoyable and I will certainly be enlisting her help on future projects.
