Ordered two rugs. One of which we are still waiting for over 3 months later. No communication from store to explain delay. We are having to chase continually and even then are fobbed off with vague promises of a call back. Very disappointed with unprofessional customer service. Definitely do not recommend.

Having searched for a new bed for over a year we finally purchased from Hopewells in Nottingham. We received excellent advice from Fiona who had an encyclopedic knowledge of everything regarding beds. The bed arrived exactly as ordered, on time and was delivered at precisely the pre-arranged time with a minimum of fuss, despite the bed being extremely heavy and having to ascend a spiral staircase. Good old fashioned service, expertise and a smile is alive and kicking at Hopewells.

I purchased a Stressless Recliner and footstool, ordering both in the taller seat height of 47 cm. I always found them uncomfortable and when measuring found I had been supplied with the standard chair 43 cm but the taller stool. I wrote asking what they would do about this. They have gone so far as to get someone from FIRA to come and take false measurements of the chair insisting it is the correct height and come up with every argumentative excuse why they are not prepared to do anything about it. In one email they even suggested they would price a further chair sympathetically! I have produced the clearest of photographs demonstrating the chair is a standard height one, but still they persist in defending my county court proceedings against them which they will obviously lose. I am quite badly disabled and quite tall so the impact of this odd chair and stool has a particularly bad effect upon me. I thought I was investing is something that is quality but the seat itself is hard and flat and this increased as time went by. This was a very expensive chair and I relied upon all of the assurances Hopewells repeat on their webpage of the sales blurb, the most comfortable etc. If you do not wish to go through all of this, please avoid Stressless products and this shop
