“Emily has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She helped us navigate and plan the layout of our kitchen, living and dining extension, and the whole process has been so much easier thanks to her expertise. She initially created two different layout options, both incorporating my non-negotiables and wish list, giving us the opportunity to compare different approaches. Once we’d chosen our preferred design, Emily was brilliant at taking on board all of my feedback and making thoughtful amendments until everything felt just right. The level of detail she provided was incredible. From the placement of cutlery drawers and bins to lighting plans, planting suggestions and reference images, every element had been carefully considered. She really listened to what we were trying to achieve and came up with ideas that I would never have thought of myself but now couldn’t imagine doing without. We’re still in the early planning stages of our build, but Emily has already made such a positive impact. Knowing these important decisions have been made now will undoubtedly save us so much stress later on. I genuinely feel much more confident and excited about the project. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kerv and would use them again in a heartbeat. I’m sure I’ll be back in touch in a year’s time when it’s time to focus on the interiors!”

“Karen was invaluable throughout our project. From the initial consultation, she quickly understood what we wanted to achieve and brought real clarity to the spatial planning, layout and overall design direction. She particularly shines when it comes to interior architecture and spatial planning. She made a number of thoughtful and practical amendments to the layout originally suggested by our architect, such as moving thr laundry room upstairs and keeping an internal corridor) all of which improved the way the house would work in practice. Her input on lighting, electrical layouts, bespoke joinery, specification and sourcing was also hugely helpful. Karen’s — and Pete’s — drawings, plans and design work made it much easier to visualise the finished spaces and to communicate decisions clearly to the wider team. Karen was also excellent during the build itself: practical, responsive and good at solving problems as they arose. She made regular site visits, liaised well with contractors and helped keep the design intent on track. We particularly valued her attention to detail, her sourcing and procurement support, and the fact that she passed on trade discounts where available. Overall, Karen made a complex project feel much more coherent and considered, and we are very pleased with the outcome.”

“Fresh start living did a wonderful job. Designer and Project Manager Beth has an excellent approach to consultation, giving every opportunity for client input whilst having a strong vision for options available. We met a number of times before moving ahead. The project took one of my living rooms completely back to bare walls. All furniture etc was removed. There was electrical, plumbing and decorating work. Beth advised on colour pallet, materials, lighting, furniture and artwork. She procured all materials, furniture and artworks. She was a constant presence, getting hands on as well. Her team of tradesmen were on time, cheerful and their work was top quality. The project was projected to finish before second week in December and it did! I’m delighted with the outcome. Visitors comment on the complete transformation and how good it looks!”
