Imella Design

Working with Imella Design on my home following months and months of building work has been one of the most wonderful experiences. Rachel and her team listened to my ideas and requests and designed and created the most beautiful, relaxing and most talked about features and soft furnishings in our home. Without Rachel and her exquisite eye for detail and her absolute perfection my house wouldn’t have become the most beautiful family home it has become. Thank you Rachel and Imella Design. I can not recommend them enough!

We needed curtains for the hall and landing, and then curtains for bay windows for another room which was still being renovated. Rachel came with fabrics and ideas, could see past the dust and plaster and was great at giving advice. She arranged for her fitter to come and give advice on and measure for the poles in the bay windows. Rachel and her fitter worked with the timetable of builders, decorators etc and the hanging of the curtains was arranged. We are really pleased with the finished curtains, the full length ones literally just skim the floor, and they are all beautifully made, with great attention to detail. At a couple of windows, Rachel suggested we put up blinds rather than curtains, but in the same fabric. Again, great advice, and the same wonderful quality. In addition to curtains, we needed seat pads and cushions for the bay windows. Rachel advised on coordinating fabric, took templates and arranged for the seat pads to be made and upholstered. She made the cushion covers in and ensured that everything fitted, even steaming the seat pads to get out the last few creases. Overall, we are extremely pleased, and would not hesitate to recommend Rachel.

Its as a pleasure to work with Rachel & her team a professional company who have delivered a first class service in producing our showroom high end curtains and display. Rachel was extremely helpful in suggesting fabrics for linings to compliment my fabric choices. Also measuring, suppling and fitting curtain poles. Alongside hanging & steaming the curtains. An incredibly professional company who have delivered a first class service in producing an upholstered bench cushion for me. Rachel was extremely helpful in supporting me to chose a fabric which complemented my colour schemes and my beautifully completed bench cushion was promptly couriered out to me. I have used this company in the past to make me a roman blind and the service and quality of the final product was exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to use Imella Design again.

Rachel has undertaken a couple of projects for me. Firstly my sons bedroom, beautiful linen curtains, handstitched, interlined with a leading edge in a contrasting fabric. Rachel helped me source the perfect fabric, kept me updated, fitted and made adjustments all in the agreed timescale. The finished product is FABULOUS! In addition she made a wonderful job of my hall curtains. Having put up with some left by the previous owner we finally decided to change them, we chose a jolly Thornback and Peel fabric and they always make me smile, beautifully made with attention to detail. Thank you Rachel for your time, help and advice. I would not hesitate in recommending Rachel and indeed I already have.

Beautiful Curtains and Roman blinds! I had a huge floor to ceiling 10ft wide window and 4 other Windows which I wanted Roman curtains/blinds for. Rachel came and helped me out in every respect. I had quite a good idea of what I was looking for and she came back with different fabrics and all my suggestions were well put together. Rachel was so wonderful at finding fabrics which suited my budget and also creating the curtains and blinds that matched what I had in my head! She was so good at listening to what I had in mind and also coming up with other suggestions too. Not only the curtains, but the pole was provided by her too. we had 4 roman blinds installed. The fabrics and design advice were really first rate. They were made with care and great attention to detail and delivered and installed on time. They look stunning and we were delighted with the work. We are about to place another order!
