About Us

JWH Design is my interior design company that was born in Paris during the Covid Pandemic as my professional rugby career was coming to an end. Covid regulations reduced training hours and games which led to me searching for freelance design work across the globe. I like to challenge interior design norms not just through my story but also through my design style. By creating interesting storage solutions and increasing design functionality whilst maintaining a clear focus on aesthetics I want every space to be as usable as it is beautiful. I am passionate about furniture and pride myself on sourcing or designing beautiful pieces that are a direct reflection of the clients' personalities, styles, and interests. I have a vast network of trade accounts across all aspects of interior design which are a fantastic help when wanting to squeeze the most from your budget.

Working with Jake was an absolute pleasure. He worked really hard alongside of us to get the interior design of our short term rental set, and then to source the furniture (in the middle of COVID, that was no easy feat). I enjoyed the collaboration process and that Jake took the time to understand our ideas and provided honest feedback on them and always explained his reasoning behind it. I learned a lot working with him. He’s also just a very friendly person and nice to work with overall. I’ve recommended him a bunch of times already and we are working with him on our next short term rental! Don’t pass up the opportunity to work with Jake!

I hired Jake to help with fitting out my ground floor after my extension. I struggled to explain what I wanted, but Jake has a really good way of helping you get your ideas out of your head. The finishing product was everything I envisioned and more. Highly recommend Jake to anyone who is struggling with explaining what they want.

Jake is a true interior deisign enthusiasts. Me and my partner were just novice decorators and hence very glad to find this very experienced interior design professional. While a home is not only a refuge, but also an expression of personal style—we were very glad that helped us respect our style while presenting us with the unique furnishing and décor concepts tailor made to our project. Jake was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We told him what our vision for the office was which he then brought to life brilliantly through renders and gave great advice around layout and furniture choices. He then sourced all of the furniture and was able to negotiate some fantastic discounts and oversaw all the delivery timings and installation teams. His communication throughout with us was excellent and overall a brilliant company and individual to work with!

Incredible from start to finish. Attention to detail, being able to see the proposed design in a mock up was so helpful. Also bought forward ideas around my own style and suggestions but many other things I wouldn't have considered but ultimately chose and loved. Always on hand to chat things through. I used JWH design (Jake) for my short term rental business. We needed a quick turn around on residential units. Jake provided design boards within a day and followed up with renders on areas we were less sure on. Jake also created furniture lists with large trade discounts which meant we fell way under budget. This actually allowed us to complete further renovation which we thought was out of our price range. Fantastic service and will continue to use his services.
