Lally did a wonderful job for us in refreshing our interiors. Lally is so easy to work with and her suggestions in terms of key pieces of furniture and fabrics have really transformed our rooms. Lally was also excellent at re-purposing those things we wanted to keep and the overall result is exactly what we were after with every room now feeling and looking right for us. Highly recommended!

Lally and her team recently helped complete a full refurbishment to my ground and garden period property in Edinburgh’s West End. With 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an office and a new kitchen it was no small feat. I live abroad the majority of the year, so I was only on site a few times during the 12 month renovation. Lally worked directly with our contractor to liaise on everything from the electrical layouts, to the designs of large bespoke joinery throughout the home. Lally also collaborated with both kitchen and bathroom companies on all details and finishes. I brought over several furniture pieces from abroad which Lally beautifully integrated into the design. Lally was involved and willing to help at every turn of the process. Lally not only provided great designs, but was a pleasure to work with. Lally and her team were always quick to respond and present on site with the trades. She was an integral part of the project, and her help was invaluable at bringing the design of our home together. Lally understood our style and incorporated it with her sophisticated design which resulted in our beautiful and welcoming Edinburgh home. We could not be happier.

We could not recommend Lally highly enough. Her eye for space, colour and overall look is incredible and she has so many ideas. We only wish that we had a larger project for Lally to help us with - e.g. our entire house! Lally was adept at teasing out our requirements up-front and made sure we followed through on them, providing reassurance along the way. Her organisational and communication skills are excellent and, importantly, she is great fun to work with. Lally’s black book of suppliers and stockists is extensive and we’ve benefitted greatly from her introductions to very talented and high quality tradespeople and makers. Needless to say, we are delighted with the finished results.

We recently moved to Edinburgh having bought and refurbished our property while living abroad. We got in touch with Lally and her team to help us as we were having difficulty with some of our rooms. Lally and her team were the perfect match and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others. They have impeccable taste and really took time to understand our preferences and personal style. They simplified what could have been complicated decisions and struck the perfect balance between incorporating as much of our furniture as possible whilst being honest when something simply was not going to work. We could not be happier with our final result.

It was a pleasure working with Lally. The project was a complete restoration and redecoration of a four storey house which was part of an historical, A-listed building. Not only did Lally understand the overall interior effect I sought to achieve, she knew all the best sources and resources to make it all happen -- right through pandemic lockdowns, supply chain issues, staff shortages, etc., all of which led to numerous delays and complications. Through it all, Lally remained calm and focussed, full of fresh ideas and creative solutions. My home is now a comfortable and welcoming sanctuary, thanks in great part to Lally's efforts.

We bought a fabulous Edinburgh Newtown flat unseen during lockdown and immediately realised we would need help to realise its potential not least as we live 400 miles away and were still in lockdown. I found Lally on social media and after speaking to her we arranged to see the flat together. Lally is highly organised and efficient. She produced a scope of work and immediately understood what we were looking for. She liased with our builders ( even buying them cakes on one occasion) and architect. Her sense of colour is wonderful and she suggested a scheme which was exciting and works with the amazing light that we have. She found furniture and soft furnishings without breaking the bank and was mindful at all times of our budget. We now have a wonderful, comfortable and elegant flat which is’ me’ but so much better. I couldn’t have done it without her and would unhesitatingly do it all again!

We have just used Lally and her team to completely revamp our sitting room. We live in a Georgian house with lovely proportioned rooms and interesting details. This was a room which we didn’t really love! It needed some TLC. We sit in it every evening to watch television and the children play snooker in there. When we asked Lally if she could help us, she set up the first meeting to discuss what we were looking for. We said we wanted 'fun', 'colour' and 'Kit Kemp' style! Lally had two things to work with; a much loved painting and a snooker table - which had to stay! It made her life harder I think having to work the room layout around the snooker table however she has done a truly wonderful job and we are so delighted. I was bored of a rather ‘beige’ house and we wanted to add colour to this room. It is north facing also so quite a dark room. Lally suggested a dark colour on the walls. I knew it was going to look good and this is what I had envisaged even before she suggested it however I needed my hand holding for this! It didn’t come naturally to me to paint the walls a very dark grey colour. However they are superb! She has added so much colour and I probably needed a little bit of persuasion to add so much colour but it works and we are so pleased with the end result. Lally organised curtains, rugs, sofas, lighting, cushions and carpet. We did use one old sofa which she recovered and had an old large footstool recovered also. They added buttons to the footstool and some really beautiful braid around the edge so it actually looks like a brand new footstool. All her tradespeople were lovely to work with; respectful and lovely people! It was all seamless from our point of view which again was lovely. We are so happy and love using this room now. Thanks Lally for a wonderful job. We would highly recommend Lally and her team to do any interior project.

Having entered into this refurbishment project with no little apprehension, I’m delighted to say that I "struck gold" with Lally and her team. She brought a "good eye" and much energy to the project. I was not able to visit the property at any time during the process but notwithstanding, Lally provided regular updates of progress and was extremely responsive to all queries. All projects have snags but Lally was able to suggest practical solutions and workarounds where applicable. Really a superb project manager and interior designer.

Lally helped us design a new living space off our kitchen as part of a remodelling of our whole ground floor. The colours and fabrics suggested by Lally have helped create an absolute haven for our family. The room has such a cosy , inviting feel and has been a joy throughout lockdown. Lally listened to the brief and was very patient throughout. Would thoroughly recommend her !

I first saw Lally’s work on Houzz website and immediately liked her style. At the time we were in the middle of renovating a Georgian property, and struggling to agree on how to move forward with the interiors as we both had very different ideas. Lally fortunately came to meet us, listened very carefully to both of our points of view and having spent time studying the property went away and put a proposal together with regards to colours, flooring, room layout, window treatments, textiles and some pieces of furniture that would work with our own. We were delighted with her suggestions which brought an immediate direction and harmony to our project. It was a joy to collaborate with Lally, she was always willing to listen and offer alternative options, met deadlines and budget requirements. Her organisation throughout was seamless and her standards exacting. It is thanks to her that we now have a beautiful and comfortable home that we both love.

Lally has provided us with a wide range of interior design advice ranging from designing an entire room (drawing room, bedroom) to lighting optimisation, choosing of colours for walls, wall papers, fabric for curtain and furniture. Lally also made a lot of curtains for us, of the most fantastic quality. Lally understands immediately your needs and your budget and adapts her advice accordingly. She has extremely good taste and has a huge and updated knowledge of what is out there! Very professional and precise, she has an amazing attention to details and her quotes are always detailed and transparent. A perfect experience all around!

I was fortunate to meet Lally after rebuilding an old farmhouse. Lally was excellent with sourcing , fitting and installing curtains and blinds plus tracks / rails for the whole house. All curtains and blinds fitted perfectly , beautifully made and hand finished , all done with great attention to detail . Lally has broad wealth of knowledge covering interiors and structure . I look forward to continuing work on house with Lally next year . I highly recommend Lally who is very professional , organised , thoughtful , hard working, excellent communicator , ultra reliable and extremely pleasant . After initial couple of visits , we worked via email which was efficient for us both . Project was completed on time and on budget . I am very grateful for all Lally’s superb work .
