we hired lisbethomeandstyle earlier this year. We were looking for someone who could not only interior decorate but more importantly project manage for us as we have 2 young kids and not the time nor the patience to deal with electricians, builders etc. we had been trying ourselves to revamp our front room for some time but just kept losing the momentum before we had started! the remit was to make our front room 'beautiful, cosy, social, relaxing but still suitable for our kids. sarah really listened to our tastes (very diplomatically as my partner and i had quite different ideas and to have a separate arbitrator for this was a huge help) and came up with a plan that sat very well with both of us. she added alot of practical inspiration such as changing our tv viewing area and hiding the cabling, building a whole wall of shelves and storage) , lisbet has also sourced new windows for us and managed all the meetings with the window supplier which was outside of our expectations. The team of builders they have working with them were the most pleasant I have ever had in my house. we were provided with a mood board and embarrassing to say but we pretty much bought everything on it even though we did shop around first - this was because we found that the items (sofas/shelving/carpets/cabinets....we had to buy lots as we had 'upsized') she sourced were really reasonably priced and we could not match the quality elsewhere. I never thought I would use a designer for my home but its the added project management angle of this company that we loved. we are so happy with the final look of our front room and the redefined living areas that we are asking lisbet to quote on some other work in our house now. If you haven't go the time but want the results like us, I would recommend highly.
