I loved working with Lucida. Picking colours is a daunting thing for some of us. I was sick of getting it wrong and traipsing back to paint shops after getting a colour wrong and then wildly stabbing in the dark in an attempt to find a new scheme. Lucinda was methodical, responsive and patient with me. She challenged my preconceptions and worked brilliantly within the constraints I gave her. I am really delighted with a very pleasing scheme for our hallway and our son's bedroom and would never have been able to achieve this without Lucinda's help. Thank you!

We were grateful for Lucinda's help with our refurb project on the Dorothy House Inpatient Unit. Her expertise in matching the right colours, sensitivities to doors, and even the finish of the paint, to compliment the atmosphere of the Unit, has made a difference. The patients have commented that the rooms look lovely and welcoming.

Lucinda has a flair for colour! She brought a whole new dimension to our project (a laundry/butler's pantry) which could have gone flat if we had not chosen such an appropriate pallet of divine paint colours with her help. An enjoyable process from start to finish.

I have no hesitation in recommending Maybury Fine interiors. On each occasion I have sought lucinda's advice her choice of colour has been imaginative, unusual and perfect. Her choice of materials are of the highest quality. She has a keen eye for detail and is punctilious in attending to the work in hand.

Lucinda did a wonderful job of coming up with a colour scheme for our kitchen-diner. I love the blue-green choice for the woodwork and cabinets which compliments the marble perfectly. Left to my own devices it would be a boring white or grey! She was passionate and profession and also a huge help with sourcing farrow and ball-esq lime paints for our listed building and recommending other outstanding trades people. We also got her to pick out colours for our entryway and some fabrics for our living room. The only part of the process I found difficult was deciding the best time to bring Lucinda in. For example, once we finished cleaning our stone stairwell, we used a teal colour Lucinda had picked out to paint the spindles but it didn't look right! Lucinda came straight back and recommended another colour, saying the stone had cleaned up a slightly different shade to what she'd anticipated, so I wish we'd finished restoring the stairs before painting (although the stone mason wanted the painting done before he finished cleaning!) Similarly, now we have some artwork I commissioned on the walls, I'm not sure the fabrics picked for the living room will work as well as if we'd picked them to go with the paintings as well. In hindsight, I think it would have been better to have got Lucinda in a bit more towards the end of the renovation, but I'm still very pleased we got her input. I'm currently repainting our bedroom with a colour scheme she picked out as the bright blue I chose myself, before we moved in, is quite hard to live with and now clashes with the muted colours of the hall. Without Lucinda's input, I'd definitely be doing a lot more repainting. Paint selection is a mysterious skill and Lucinda is one of the few people I know who understands how to do it properly.

I highly recommend Luncinda. She is very skilled and has an artistic eye for colour and decor. I was struggling to decide on colours for the lounge in my converted barn home. She was fantastic and came up with a colour scheme that we would not of thought of but which worked beautifully. She then brought fabric books to the house and worked with us to decide on which fabric would complement the decorated room. She also sourced a seamstress to make the curtains. I found Lucinda a delight to work with - clear thinking and willing to express an opinion yet responsive to my reactions. She gave us two painting scheme options to choose from together with mood boards to try in situ to help us make that decision. Lucinda is extremely professional and customer focused. She really worked with us to help us get the outcome we were looking for. And there were no surprises when the bills came in!

We were very happy with the outcome of the input by Lucinda Mayberry in the refurbishment of our Library/ sitting room . After discussions with us she produced mood-boards giving us a choice of schemes for the project . She was flexible and went to considerable lengths to inform our final decisions about fabrics, colour scheme and items of furniture. She kept to budget . Lucinda clearly has a very thorough knowledge of colour , fabrics and furnishings and is able to put this to creative and imaginative use while also working with the clients preferences.

Lucinda was professional and extremely knowledgeable. With her help and guidance I was able to make decisions on colours for my lounge redecoration. The result on completion was superb. Highly recommended.

Lucinda helped us choose a new colour scheme for our kitchen/dining room. We didn't know where to start as we had to work around existing curtains, the colours of the work surface, the units and more. However, Lucinda spent a great deal of time asking us what we liked and didn't like and gradually steered us towards the right options, checking that they were right for the darker areas of the room, as well as the brighter areas. We have used Lucinda for several projects including the kitchen, entrance hall and boot room. My husband was initially hesitant about whether we needed a colour expert but we were so ecstatic with the results, we asked her to colour design several further rooms. We could not have achieved the look ourselves had we picked our own colours. Lucinda always acted professionally and diligently making numerous trips to the house to ensure everything was completely perfect and we were happy with the final design.
