Michelle Shakallis Interiors specialises in residential interior design working on both new builds and refurbishment projects in Kent. We offer a highly personalised and friendly service focusing on the clients individual needs to create beautiful spaces. Whether you need help with; styling your home for sale, how to best utilise your space or need a full design and delivery service. Michelle will expertly reflect your personal taste and style to give you the confidence to achieve the look and feel you want in your home. At Michelle Shakallis Interiors we ensure practicality and comfort, decorating a functional beautiful space with furniture, fabrics, accessories, and creating custom pieces tailor-made for your living space. We design to ensure that not only do they look great but they are inviting and liveable and will stand the test of time. Interior Design Services Styling your home Consultations are charged at £45 for the initial one and £30/hr thereafter Design Consultancy Consultations are charged at £45 for the initial one and £30/hr thereafter Full interior design service and delivery Initial consultation complimentary and £30/hr thereafter. All trade discounts will be passed onto the client.

Michelle did an amazing job designing our master bedroom, ensuite and hallway. These were all tricky spaces in a Grade II listed house so the brief wasn't easy! Michelle's designs made creative use of the space and aligned perfectly to our style. I would definitely use her services again!

We worked with Michelle to completely redesign our open plan living and dining room and she did an absolutely fantastic job. When it comes to interior design my wife and I don't agree on much, so Michelle had the difficult job of balancing our individual tastes to create something cohesive that we both liked. We've ended up with a design we would have never got to ourselves in a million years, with elements we would never have gone for individually but that make so much sense as a finished product. Being brave and trusting Michelle's vision has really paid off. As well as being a brilliant designer Michelle is very easy to work with, communicating clearly and delivering high polished project outputs promptly. Recommended!

Michelle really helped me not make some huge mistakes in my hallway ! She helped us to think about textures that would compliment , colour palettes that would work and a look which was really ‘us’. Really grateful I hadn’t bought any paint before having our consultation , because I really would’ve gone in the wrong direction . It was good to be able to look at specific details like door furniture and lighting . Michelle asks really good questions , which I think helps you nail what you’re trying to do with a space . Thank you , we’ll be back

We have recently moved into a house that is generally in good decorative order, but we want to refresh some of the rooms and add our own touch. We used Michelle’s design consultancy service, and paid the hourly rate, rather than the full design, because we wanted some advice on furniture layout, paint colours, plants, pictures etc. Michelle listened, quickly understood what we wanted and gave us lots of advice and guidance, telling us what works and what doesn’t. We were very pleased and would recommend Michelle’s services.

Michelle was recommended to us by some friends, I am so pleased! From the initial meeting, Michelle listened attentively to us, grabbing every little detail of what was on our wish list. The final design was overwhelmingly beautiful, I had tears in my eyes! Now for the next stage of the dream - reality of a beautiful sitting room. Thank you Michelle

I booked Michelle to visit me at my property to help with the layout of my large open plan lounge and dining room. Michelle went above and beyond in helping me visualise the best layout for the room, even moving some furniture to assist with ideas for the space. I felt it really was worthwhile booking Michelle and will certainly recommend her to my friends and family. Michelle is very easy to talk to and friendly, and provided me with ideas, suggestions and advice for my project. Thank you

Michelle came for 2 hours to advise me on decorating my new house. I cannot believe how much we achieved in the time and we were blown away by the ideas- things we never would have come up with. We discussed colours/ furniture sourcing / lighting ideas / room layout / soft furnishings for several rooms. She also offered ideas at a range of price points, really listened to what we wanted (even mediating when me & my husband disagreed!), and offered practical and stylish suggestions. Looking forward to putting all the ideas into reality and would highly recommend Michelle to anyone.

Michelle spent an hour guiding us in brightening up a dark room. She listened carefully to our wishes and also understood our unspoken needs. She came up with highly creative solutions. She was a joy to watch as her creative talents took hold and the hour was filled with evolving, fresh ideas. She has left us with many ideas to follow up on, if we choose. Which we intend to do. Michelle was very friendly, approachable and efficient as well as highly talented and we would highly recommend her.
