had double story extension and total internal renovation on our house. We were recommended Dorota and Julie by our builders. Never having used an interior designer before we did not know what to expect. The project was huge and overwhelming and using an interior designer was the best decision we ever made. We were very nervous this was our first large scale renovation, and we were determined be bold make sweeping changes to the whole house. My Husband and I were unsure on how best to utilise the space and bring our vision together. Danika was patient and provide excellent ideas on how to use the space to benefit the whole family and provide real guidance. Dorota and Julie were able to translate our ideas and list of wants (some contradictory!) and turned it into a space into our dream home. Every step Danika listened and, provided alternatives and accommodated our budget whist ensuring the bigger picture was adhered to. Our home would never have had the wow factor it has without Moodezign and we still use Darota and Julie to sourced items to continue to evolve our home which is always very exciting. Having started a total refurb of our current property we totally underestimated the many decisions that had to be made, as a busy working mum it became more overwhelming rather than enjoyable. After meeting Dorota, she quickly realised our needs, and overall look that we were trying to create and made the whole process a breeze! Mood boards were created and agreed together for each room - including furniture placement, lighting concepts, paint colours, flooring types and colours, aswell as bathroom layout/ tiling schemes, kitchen layout, unit and worktop colours, and furniture/products to suit the space. Darota and Julie managed the whole project for us and dealt with supplies and builders, they were fun to work with and very patient, they were the calm through the chaos of the build, always upbeat and professional with extensive knowledge of interior design and saved us thousands of pounds, their service was invaluable. Dorota and Julie are both fantastic work with they were fun and professional and made this whole journey an absolute pleasure as were great value for money. It was a best decision we ever made, and they will bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and insight to the project and made our ideas come to life. I cannot thank them enough we love our home and am so proud of what achieved together. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Moodezign to make your dream home a reality.

What an absolute pleasure it was working with Dorota and Julia on renovating our new house. They worked closely with our builders to make sure the project ran seamlessly. From the first meeting we knew they we’re the team for us as they showed genuine interest in the house and their portfolio showed their style and design was exactly what we were looking for. They helped us design and decorate our 4 bedroom house within our budget which was around £150k, this includes the kitchen of our dreams. They have a real eye for detail and are able to source items from the high street to high end. We’ve recommended to anyone that asks and would use them again when or if needed!

We couldn’t be happier with the work of Dorota of MooDesignz. We absolutely love our flat! We had a budget of £20,000 for some small building works and a complete re-design of our 2 bedroom flat on the high street in St. Albans. The flat has exposed beams throughout (from the 16th century) and is a real unique property. We asked Dorota to help us make the all white flat eccentric, colourful and full of St. Albans flavour. She couldn’t have done her job better. With fantastic wallpaper choices and wonderful paint colours to match (ones we could never have put together ourselves!!), the property is just bursting with character. We get so many compliments from our air bnb guests who come to stay. Just recently, someone called it her “happy place!” Thank you Dorota and team for a wonderful experience. Professional, helpful, always there for any questions and most importantly a truly spectacular finished product! We are so happy.

Five star rated designer and sourcer of ideas, products and solutions Four star in terms of a difficult project situation and project management of contractors Moodesignz is a fantastic designer and does the most important things brilliantly - they bring ideas and inspiration to the table, but is able to help you realise your own ideas too. I really enjoyed working with them and having my vision expanded. They also have a really brilliant network of suppliers and contractors covering everything from building works, to bespoke furniture makers, to restorers and handy-people. The only reason this wasn’t five star in terms of project management is a little out of Moodesignz control - our project happened on the heels of brexit, and in the throes of the pandemic and first lockdown. This created massive problems with suppliers and unfortunately we were rather let down by a few of the contractors.

I would recommend Dory at Moodesignz for any interiors project. We are about to complete part one of our renovation with the upstairs rooms all being transformed. We didn’t have a massive budget (around 50k) but Dory has supported us to use it in the areas that needed it most. Dory listened to our needs, likes and the design concepts included everything we discussed including great furniture and soft furnishing recommendations that we wouldn’t have found ourselves without hours spent trawling the internet. The other great thing about working with Moodesignz is the project management and the great trades people that are recommended and fantastic project management by Julia. The finish has been great we are so pleased.

Dorota was really pleasant to work with and understood what we wanted right away. She's friendly, communicative and very patient. She also has fantastic ideas and her changes to the layout of our living room really transformed the space. We renovated three rooms (a snug, living/dining room and home office) and couldn't be happier with the end result. I would highly recommend her services!

Dorota has been absolutely brilliant with my extension and refurbishment. She helped me design the extension, the kitchen and completely re-organising the floor layout. She also provided mood boards for each room with loads of amazing items in it. Even with the challenges of lockdown, she has managed the whole project brilliantly - always on hand by phone or message to give me ideas, send me samples or help me think thru colour schemes. At first, I wondered if I was being too bold with colours and pieces of furniture, but I learned to completely trust Dorota’s judgement and eye for colour, and she knew exactly what look I was going for and was able to select brilliant statement pieces. She was also able to put me in touch with various companies I would never have otherwise found, and also get discounts in many too. We had a great experience, from the very first meeting to the final touches. A friendly, efficient and professional service throughout with excellent communication in spite of the challenges of lockdown. After our initial brief to redesign our living space, Dorota came back with 3D designs with furniture/ furnishings on an interactive mood board which we could amend and add to as needed. She sourced and project managed the various workmen needed to complete the project- carpenter, decorator, electrician and plumber. We are very happy with the end result and would warmly recommend!

I would highly recommend Dorota from Moodesignz! She has now helped us with two projects in our house, each time bringing inspiration and fantastic design. Our most recent project was designing the living area which incorporated the kitchen, dining room and living area. We loved the ideas that she came up with and she really helped us to think differently and push ourselves to make bolder and much better decisions! Dorota has been an absolute pleasure to work with on our house renovation. She took time getting to know us and help us develop our style, gently encouraging us to be more bold than we would have dared to be on our own and working with us collaboratively to get the best result. Fantastic designs. Fantastic style. Fantastic person to work with. We have nothing but good experiences with Moodesignz. Hence, we have used this company for various projects over the last few years including a pool building, annex and main home improvements. Dory very quickly supplied us with ideas/ samples/suggestions that we loved and were very much our style but would never have thought of ourselves.
