We have had the pleasure of working with NK Living on multiple occasions. The quality of work and attention to detail that goes into the works and design process is second to none, which always produces amazing results. Natalie and Kelly always have everything well organised, meaning the build runs smoothly and on schedule. I would highly recommend NK Living to anyone looking to transform their home.

I’d avoid this company at all costs. We chose a design-and-build service to reduce the stress of managing the project ourselves, but unfortunately, it had the opposite effect. Our conversion was delayed, and just before they were supposed to start, they went radio silent. When they finally responded, they pushed back the project—this was already a year after the original start date. A couple of weeks before they were set to begin, they sent over the updated costs, which had increased significantly without warning. When I asked for clarification on the changes, they were visibly annoyed that I wanted to understand why the price had gone up by tens of thousands. They had claimed from the start that they work with customers to stay on budget, but that wasn't the case. In fact, they far exceeded our budget, almost as if they were trying to price us out of the project. A week before the build was set to begin, they pulled out entirely—and shockingly, kept part of our deposit, which was completely unjustified. Overall, it was a stressful and unpleasant experience, and I would strongly advise others to steer clear.

Natalie and Kelly are the dream team, providing the full package from design to completion. We're currently undergoing a large renovation project with them, and we're in the final stages of the first phase: a double garage conversion. We've been really happy with their work so far, and Natalie's design recommendations have been brilliant. Highly recommend!

We recognise our inexperience as a contributing factor to the below, but this has been a singularly unpleasant experience. The below can be backed up by emails and WhatsApp messages. 27 Apr 20 – Share our renovation plans (loft conversion, downstairs remodel, new bathroom and kitchen, new flooring and carpeting through, painting outside and inside, front and rear garden redesign). NK Living confirm that they will visit all neighbours to let them know about works and to give contact details in case of any issues. This never happens. 11 Jan 21 – Send NK Living full scope of works. 8 Mar 21 – Prolonged silence, chase NK Living for quote. 20 Mar 21 – Quote received from NK Living and start date agreed for Jul 2021. They advise us we will receive full schedule of works. Never received at any point. 1 Apr 21 – Deposit paid. Lease signed on a rental property. 27 May 21 – Contact NK Living for start date, they inform us that they are behind on other projects and earliest start date is now Oct 21. To err on the side of caution, a date of 10 Jan 22 is agreed instead. 18 Nov 21 – Email NK Living to double check 10 Jan 22 start date. They reply to say start date is now Mar 23. We lose £1500 holding deposit on rental house. 9 Jan 22 – NK Living send payment schedule. 17 Jan 22 – NK Living confirm that several items in our scope of work have not been included in the quote, increasing the cost considerably. 6 Mar 22 – NK Living send updated payment schedule with changed banking details. 22 March 22 – Electrics cost alone increases by £2100 + VAT. Payment schedule is a live Google Sheet, so changes are impossible to track, despite our best efforts. Figures appear without notice. 4 Jul 22 – Roofers break window in neighbours’ house. NK Living say new one ordered and will be fixed by 12 Jul. Eventually fixed on 6 Aug. 8 July 22 – NK Living give minimal notice they’re on holiday for 2 weeks. During this time, we regularly visit the site and only twice observe anyone working there. 25 July 22 – Inform NK Living that we are on holiday from late Aug until 4 Sept. As our children go back to school on 6 Sept and our lease ends on 5 Sept, we will need to move back on our return. NK Living confirm this is fine, everything but the kitchen will be completed by our return and that will only take one week extra. 15 Aug 22 – Due to spiralling costs, we apply for extra funding from bank. This sets off a chain of increasingly aggressive communications over the next month from Natalie as she chases payments. 1 Sept 22 – While on holiday, we receive a text from Natalie saying that the house won’t be ready on our return and we need to find alternative living arrangements. 4 Sept 22 – Return to find little progress in our absence. 26 Sept 22 –Quote for landscaping increases by £11k since initial quotation in Jan, despite scaling back scope of work. To date ext. paint never happened. Serious snagging issues (incl. leak into utility/bad carpet fit/damaged tiles) never dealt with.

NK Living helped us design a double height extension and a rethink if the existing house layout. It was an old Victorian house that didn’t flow well and the design NK Living came up with is a triumph. They also kindly navigated the planning permission process for us and secured a quick, successful approval of the project. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Natalie and Kelly make a great team. They immediately pick up on your style and bring fresh ideas for the space you wouldn't think of. Everything ran smoothly with a single person running point across the various trades. Highly recommend.

The NK Living team created a living space in a previously unused loft room. Natalie was very helpful in leasing with building control to gain necessary approvals to add a door and landing to the space, and was organised and efficient in her approach to managing the project, which involved removal of cupboards, plastering and redecorating, electrical work, building a new wall and doorframe, adding a new window and carpeting. It completely met our expectations and means we now have a bright, airy space to use as a study / playroom. We have used NK Living on a number of jobs and would absolutely recommend to others.

Thanks to Natalie, Kelly and team for a fab rear ground floor extension with new kitchen giving our house a new lease of life! The build quality is very high, and NK Living project managing the build was a big positive taking a huge amount of stress away.

A lounge project designed by NK. Mood boards, layouts and elevation drawings helped with visualisation and concept. The project was completed by friendly and efficient trades people and managed professionally. Kitchen and Bathroom now designed and looking forward to the next project getting underway this year.

“Leave it with me” - the phrase we affectionately came to know would cure all ills! For every problem we threw at Nat and Kelly (and every attempted obstruction from our 600 year old house), a scratch of the head and a “leave it with me” solved them all. Nat and Kelly are professional, talented and lovely people. As are all of their crew. We needed two bathrooms renovated which had to be strictly in keeping with the character of the house (and my, at times, impossible vision!!). After going through a couple of other design companies who either did not understand the aesthetic we were trying to achieve, or did not feel they were capable of the work, we sent a desperate message to NK who came to our rescue. The result being two absolutely beautiful bathrooms (as well as an annexe bathroom reno, a roof replacement and multiple other jobs along the way!). We have already started the process of renovating our breakfast room which can hopefully begin sometime in 2021-2022. We really don’t want to recommend them to anyone else because we’d much prefer to keep them all for ourselves! . But on a serious note, thank you so much Nat and Kelly for bringing our vision for the house to life, we cannot possibly recommend them more highly.

Natalie and Kelly took on a small project for us - redecorating a small bedroom into a nursery room. They were accommodating of our tight timeframe and brought all of my ideas to life. They were realistic with us in terms of what was achievable in our timeframe and budget, and delivered all the work (new engineered oak flooring, installation of bespoke wardrobe, repainting) to a very high standard in the agreed timeframe - working seven days a week to do so. Another lovely project completed by them for us and we are very happy with it!

NK living are a dream team, and they transformed my rat-infested beach house into a luxury dream vision. This was no easy task: as I had many mood boards, many changes of mood and the house had its own issues it threw at them... but their patience, expertise and the great team of trade people allowed the house to get to my dream destination. I asked them to help me with a full renovation and landscape the garden; it's certainly a wonderful luxury beach home now with 6 beautiful bedrooms, a new master en-suite and splendid family bathroom that has the best use of space now. The kitchen has been made especially for a beach house; I finally got to use an amazing Brazilian blue quartz stone for the worktop, and Natalie gave me all the courage to go for it. The casita is a world on its own - ready for an escape from the main house at any moment when the kids and noise get too much. NK are coming back shortly to finish off stage two (mainly the garden), so until then all photos will be kept under wraps.. everyone will have to wait to see the amazing creation, NK Living helped me achieve. I am very grateful I found them, and would highly recommend them; in fact, they are essential for everyone to use!

NK helped us with the smallest extension possible +1m or so as a porch (as well as installing a better bannister and larch screen next to the stairs). Whilst it was a relatively small job, all trades were involved which meant the process was complicated, but excellently managed by Natalie and Kelly. Finishing detail was incredible as always and team were polite and patient (especially with my young son who loved to asked lots of questions - mostly "why"). We are returning customers and will be using them again for further work.

Natalie and Kelly are a great team, they really helped with our kitchen with ideas and guidance. They have some fantastic trades that work with them, Steve's; Plumber, Tiler, Spark, Builder .. were all great and thought about us during their job. As with all kitchens watch the budget as ideas can add to the cost. Working with Natalie often options are available.

We worked with Natalie, Kelly and their team on a renovation project for our home. It was fantastic to have Natalie co-ordinate all the different tradespeople needed for the work (carpenter, carpeter, plumber, decorators, electrician). It took a lot of stress out of the project and we really valued Natalie's organised and exacting approach. It was fantastic to see our ideas made a reality and everything was done to a very high standard. Natalie had a wealth of knowledge about different suppliers and brands which helped us with our design decisions. Everything ran to schedule and the whole team worked really hard to help us achieve our goals to our set budget. We are thrilled with the work we had done and would absolutely use them again.

Nk Living provided a very professional service, from the original brief through to the finish. We had our kitchen and living area transformed, and that’s thanks to Natalie and Kelly’s great ideas, their use of colour, clever storage solutions, and years of experience across design and the building trade. Each detail of the project was carried through to the highest standard from the team. We are so happy with the finished design, we will be using them again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We've used Natalie and Kelly twice now - for a kitchen renovation and a top-to-bottom house renovation - and definitely plan to use them again. They're professional, prompt, flexible, delightful to deal with and very good value. Their combination of practical knowledge and creative flair is a real asset - and quite hard to find - and their attention to detail is second-to-none. They helped us come in on budget, worked hard to meet our tight deadlines and dealt with changes deftly and without complaint. We've been equally impressed with their lovely staff and all the contractors they use. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Works comprised: new patio door and windows, removal of 2 structural walls, new dividing walls, renewal of electrics and new kitchen and downstairs toilet. NK were incredibly understating and supportive when we had to postpone the works just a few days before initial start date due to illness. Re-scheduled works started on the day agreed and completed within programme. Kelly and his team worked incredibly hard, were very friendly and tidy. We would certainly recommend Natalie and Kelly and would welcome them back should we require any further work.

Once again the NK LIVING team have done another fabulous job ! This is the 2nd time I have used the team on a big renovation job and they have exceeded once again . This project was an modest auction property that needed total renovation . New heating , electrics , plastering , bathroom , loo . Making an open plan kitchen and decorating . The job had to be done within 6/7 wks as I was renting and paying a mortgage at the same time so We needed to get the job done ASAP . They made it happen ! Careful project management by Natalie was crucial and this is one of their huge assets . The team are professional , creative ,tidy and all in all a great bunch . The costings are clear and carefully budgeted to your needs with the help of a payment plan . I wouldn’t look anywhere else for my building needs . I still have stuff I need doing and will welcome the team into my house in the future . Thanks guys you are stars . ⭐️

NK Living created a beautiful bathroom for me recently. They came up with some creative ideas to achieve a unique look, incorporating a large shower with a stone seat, bespoke vanity unit and shelving storage space. Just by giving them a few images they totally got the concept and look I was trying to achieve. The work has been completed to a very high standard and I am absolutely delighted with the result.

NKLiving took charge of our project after being let down by our original architect and we were grateful to them for stepping in at the building stage and guide us through. Everything ran to schedule due to Natalie’s organisation and Kelly’s commitment. They worked with us well as we changed our designs and plans throughout the process and were understanding of additional after thoughts throughout. They offered their advice and expertise when we needed it but also allowed us the space to put our own stamp on the build. Both Natalie and Kelly have an extensive knowledge of the design and build world and welcome bespoke challenges and new ideas.

We knew from the first time we met with Natalie and Kelly that they would be able to create the perfect new space in our family home. The ideas they had on site from the first meeting got us really excited for the project. We were involved with all the decision making from start to finish so they were able to achieve what we wanted. NK have designed the roof, kichen, utility, open plan dining space and snug. The quality of the design and work is second to none and we would highly recommend them. They have taken great care and consideration for the duration of their time here and all the contacts they have used have also been a pleasure. We now have a real wow factor in our house and a dream space in our Edwardian family home. The end result is perfect. Thank you for everything NK!

Building work undertaken; removal of a dividing wall between kitchen/dining room and fitting of five bi-fold doors. As for the kitchen fit, we were left very, very disappointed. Wife in tears!!! The job was left unfinished and the standard of the kitchen fit left much to be desired and not what we expected, based on the reviews we read beforehand. We have learned a harsh lesson!!!! It is astonishing that this firm threatened to walk away ahead of completing the work unless they were paid in full. The work was left unfinished and we tried to hire a replacement fitter to finish the job without success. I subsequently learned that the company tried to remove my review as "false." This is not true!! They ordered cheap cupboards and carcasses from two different suppliers. We cannot access the orders as we are not trade clients. Their CAD drawings were, to be frank, a joke; very amateur and poorly structured. My final observation is NK Living are not kitchen fitters. The builder Kelly is top drawer but he is clearly bored with kitchen fits and made a real mess of our fitting. He placed the incorrect handle on the dishwasher, the washer and dryer housing units rattle very badly, the Neff extractor fan moves across the Quartz worktop and the fridge/freezer unit is poorly fitted, unable to close properly. We now need to remove the kitchen units and buy new ones to fit. Costly but valuable learning lesson.

Nat & Kelly have been a joy to work with. They were initially hired to design, arrange and build a kitchen/diner conversion, this quickly got upscaled to a utility room, cloakroom, hallway and playroom upgrade! They are on hand to answer any queries, and relieve any inevitable mid-project doubts. They are perfectionists with an impeccable eye but sensible approach to ensure costs are controlled and the project moves forward. If Nat & Kelly can’t do the job themselves they know someone who can and will arrange it all rather than having to deal with multiple contractors. They have worked solidly through the extreme conditions (within the context of UK weather) - building out the utility room in the snow and laying patio in the recent heat. We have been kept up to date on all the moving parts and I couldn’t recommend them enough. We’ll be sad to see them go (so we’ll probably find something else for them to do!)

Ours was a quirky kitchen renovation. Nat and Kelly are a great team. We absolutely LOVE our kitchen. They got Phils ideas and sourced our amazing reclaimed baseball court flooring, introduced us to Naked Kitchens and Buster & Punch switches. We could have gone with someone else but we would never have got such an Awesome space!

Natalie and Kelly were fab! They redesigned my bedroom and study. Both jobs were done beautifully and I'm really pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them for any job.

We found NK Design on a good-looking business card. They came round promptly and discussed what they could do for us based on our requirements. They came up with their own suggestions which we hadn't thought of and we booked them after receiving their quote. Nat and Kelly are great. Helpful, friendly and full of ideas. They're ready to listen and suggest and remained on site throughout which was important to us. There are some lovely features and we are very happy with the way the house has turned out; also with the way the project was undertaken. They sorted the plans and planning too and we would have no issue at all in recommending them to others.

Construction of two new bathrooms, a new cloakroom and major redecorating work in the house. All the work - and more - was done to a very high standard and to the original quotation.

NK Design has fitted several of our kitchens. They always do a great job and are a pleasure to work with. We look forward to working with each other in the future.

NK Design & Build completely renovated our Victorian detached house in Surrey. They took full responsibility for project managing and completing all works. This included: - a new kitchen - a new WC - re-plastering of the entire house and repainting - Installing 2 x bifold doors - design and landscaping of front and back gardens/ driveway - remodelling of downstairs layout - removing walls, windows etc. - new roof The entire project took just 4 months and was completed on time and within the agreed budget (including contingency). We are really happy with the end result and enjoyed working with Natalie and Kelly along way. They are very professional and friendly and always provided design advice and options depending our budget. The project management oversight offered by Natalie meant we had peace of mind throughout the experience and avoided potential problems in dealing with multiple trades. Working with NK Design and Build was a real pleasure. The kitchen which i photographed was beautiful, and really stunning. The home owners were really proud of it. I would highly recommend NK Design and Build, and am looking forward to our next shoot together.

NK Design & Build were simply fantastic. From the get-go they were pleasant to deal with, helpful, prompt and kept their promises. They found quick solutions to problems and went out of their way to get things done. The quote was very reasonable and the quality of the work was first class. All deadlines were met and disruption was kept to a minimum. We were kept informed throughout the whole project. All the contractors they used were also excellent, polite and helpful. I would highly recommend Kelly and Natalie.

An excellent finish to my bathroom. A few structural problems occurred due to bad workmanship in the past, but all the problems were sorted out at little extra cost to me. All work was completed on time and all the workers were very punctual, tidy and trustworthy. Would recommend the company to anyone who wants a good job done for a reasonable price.
