I was so inspired by your Cornwall renovation.Did you study interior design? Please could you recommend an interior design course?

Anouska is a brilliant investment for anyone! As a designer myself I am always wary of other designers, but I knew I needed some help when I decided to redecorate my home after flood damage. When I asked Anouska to come for a consultation I was a little concerned that I would feel embarrased about my current eclectic arrangments, or that she would only feel she could do a good job by getting rid of things I want to keep or spending more than I can afford to spend. Quite the reverse! She was more than receptive to my existing "treasures", talking about how to build them into a more unified overall scheme. She helped me to choose colours- getting me out of the "rabbit in the headlights" feeling I was in. She was fun, knowledgeable and engaging. We ended up with a scheme that all my friends say looks exactly like me yet I would never have managed to put in. I was given all the materials I needed to take it forward, I got my own decorator to do the work, but Anouska stayed advising and assisted me with the wallpaper purchasing and some ongoing advice. I am overwhelmed with the result- there are colours I would never have thought to use that look gorgeous, and the whole effect is much warmer and more personal than I would ever have achieved on my own. Anouska was extremely good value, definitely saving me more than she cost, and the results are genuinely amazing. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Anouska develops great relationships with her clients, taking the time to understand their needs and interpreting what they want. Some designers put their stamp on projects without much regard to their clients wishes, Anouska is not like this at all.
