We are a high-residential construction company, and have worked with Nune on multiple projects. Sheena and her team have been a pleasure to work with. They are intuitive and insightful on many levels. In addition to innate creativity and well-trained eye, nune’s team is exceptionally adept in coordination and management of its projects. They are knowledgeable of the build-out process, maintain a constant and open flow of communication, are well organized, and, as a result, their projects flow seamlessly. Sheena and Tor are not only the loveliest people, but our apartment in Brooklyn turned out so beautifully because of their insightful design. The process was so organized that it was both easy and fun to make every decision, and we felt like we were in good hands when we had no idea what to pick for certain elements. They also worked within our budget and general timeline - and the work is truly so beautiful. I can't wait to work with them again on a later phase of our renovation.

I have worked with nune on four projects to date, and have known Sheena and Tor for over five years. I think the repeat business will speak for itself (re: I love them!), as I continue to hire them with each new project. Sheena and Tor are organized, honest, thoughtful, thorough, and overall wonderful people. They care about their projects, people, and process immensely which is evident in the relationships they have developed and the work they have completed. As a developer, I have worked with many interior designers across the price spectrum, and I often find the day-to-day logistics quite difficult. This is not at all the case with nune, which really allows them to stand apart from their competitors. We worked with Sheena and Tor (Nune) for a renovation project for our townhouse in Park Slope. and had an incredible experience with them. I would break down my review in the following three buckets: Design Taste and work quality We initially chose to work with Nune because we admired and respected their taste and work portfolio. They have a very calming asethetic, balance materials and textures beautifully, and have shown an ability to respect the integrity of old homes while refreshing and, in some instances, modernizing them. We learned so much working with them, and have a new appreciation for interior decorating. Project Management and Operations Nune was highly organized and responsive throughout the whole process and managed our expectations extremely well. This was our first time working with a designer and we were understandably uncertain of what to expect. They listened, understood or needs, set clear goals, and were very transparent about finances and costs. They also were very encouraging of feedback and patient when we belabored decisision or flip-flopped on ideas. They knew when to push and when to let us work through the decision ourselves. And perhaps most importantly, they set honest timeframes that were met. Overall, they just had a very keen sense of how to manage the process, and us, efficiently and smoothly. Finished Product We absolutely love our renovated home and are feeling so lucky and blessed to live there.
