My husband and I have been incredibly impressed by Jo throughout our project, this being the wholesale renovation of a Victorian terraced house. When it comes to 'typical' interior design assistance, Jo is spot on. At the beginning, we told Jo that our style preference was modern, warm and light...and Jo effortlessly ran with this brief throughout our project. Crucially, her suggestions are always practical as well - for example, Jo recommended that our kitchen sink be fitted into a work surface against a wall rather than on the kitchen island so that mess would be out of sight. Jo recommended paint finishes that are ultra modern but still soft and light. Jo designed a kitchen for us that our preferred kitchen designer could do little to improve on. Jo sourced us the perfect wood for our floors and stylish tiles for our bathrooms without us even having to take time out of our busy work schedules to do anything. Jo's designs of our bathrooms were implemented pretty much from her first sketch. Jo's input was invaluable on aspects that I wouldn't have expected either. For example, she recommended refreshing the cornicing but removing the picture rails to give the allusion of more height to the rooms. Jo thinks about little details too - for example, she asked our builders to get a post box that fits A4 letters. Jo is highly organised, responsive, communicative, easy to get along with yet professional at the same time. Jo also kept our budget in mind and gave us a competitive, tailored fee quote. We cannot recommend Jo enough!
