Raumtastik

We started working with Raumtastik in October last year. The designs provided after some chasing looked great for which we paid separately. We placed order for our furniture via Raumtastik to avail of their bulk order discount against the invoices provided last year. We have since sent multiple chasers for the same as we have not received the items and have been completely ignored by Daniele. His colleague Michael's email no longer exists and bounces back. We were seeing multiple red flags before hand as Daniele was always super slow to respond but now he has not replied for months and ignored our refund request or failed to provide any update on furniture delivery. We have raised this issue with our bank and raised a claim with court via legal route now to get the refund. Avoid at all cost. Very disappointed.

I contacted Daniele in October 2020 and asked him to design my bedroom, a simple contemporary-industrial style. He said he would start but kept me waiting for a few weeks. After a lot of chasing and false promises I got the first draft just before Xmas, that is nearly 3 months later and what I got was a picture very similar to an existing Pinterest picture I found straight away by searching once "contemporary bedroom" on Pinterest. The picture was not even that good in terms of style. During my months long wait I told Daniele several times that we should have a call to discuss my requirements but he never replied promptly, usually 5-7 days later if I was lucky. He never asked any questions. As a consequence I asked for a refund as all I got was one picture of something taken from the Internet which I could have done myself. After complaining I was totally ignored by him and his partner and got no reply at all. Considering Daniele was an acquaintance I feel betrayed not only from a professional point of view but also from a human point of view. I am very disappointed.

We chose to go with Raumtastik because the example designs were lovely and we thought they would fit in nicely with our new home. Daniele, the owner, was very friendly and listened to all of our requirements for the three rooms we wanted. He said we would be ready to start buying items within 2 weeks and so we waited patiently. Unfortunately, within three weeks, we only received one mood board for the living room, and one rendered design for the study. Upon calling to complain, we were assured that within 6 days we would have drafts for each room and within 9 days we would be ready to go with final renders. Great! We messaged the day before the draft deadline whether any more information was required - no was the answer... and then we heard nothing for 4 days - blasting straight through both of the original deadlines which had been promised. After having been ignored for 10 days, we simply gave up and asked for a refund. Sadly, despite the nice designs which clearly could have been produced, the organisation of Raumtastik has been sub-par from start to finish which has meant missed deadlines and ignored messages. Avoid if possible.

I worked with Raumtastik in May, Daniele, my lead designer, understood the brief and delivered a design that really reflected my personality and taste, all within my budget and time frame. Easy and straight forward service, would definitely work with them again.
