During a long and stressful downstairs renovation, Carolina helped us to create and see what the end project, our home, would look like. She listened to us both who at times had different views or ideas, and really created a space tailored to our family of 4. It was the most valuable money we have spent during the whole project, especially with taking the stress out of the process when it comes to attention to detail and having to make a lot of decisions. “We asked Rumi to design and project manage an extension and kitchen refit. She was extremely helpful and we absolutely love our new space. The best things about Rumi's work were her patience, calm approach and her contacts of excellents tradespeople whose work was of great quality and who worked really well as a team. Having a project manager was very reassuring and her experience of what is 'normal' in such projects made everything seem more manageable (e.g. buildings regulations, sourcing suppliers, understanding timescales). In design terms, she does a great job of listening to your own tastes and also making her own suggestions, and she has particular flair for lighting design which we wouldn't have thought of but makes a huge difference. We worried that our budget wasn't big enough to hire an interior designer, but she worked within our contraints and her input was definitely worth it. I thoroughly recommend her.”

“Gemma and her team have made a big impact on our home and in turn our lives. She quickly understood our brief to create a home that worked now and would continue to work when our children were older. She presented her suggestions to us and admittedly they weren’t anything we’d considered before but we knew it was completely the right way to go. It’s resulted in us having various living spaces that work for all five of us (and the dog!) without having to increase our square footage.
