Renaissance Interiors, Hartley Wintney is a multi Award-Winning Interior Design firm led by Karen Chapman. Karen and her team are committed and passionate about bringing beautiful bespoke interiors to clients across Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Projects are wide and varied and include not only creating beautiful interiors for established homes but also working on design and build projects. With design and build projects, Karen is able to take you through every step of the process. From those initial ideas through to the architect consultation and building process. At the same time that the house is being built, our team will be creating the bespoke unique interiors that have been designed for and inspired by the client. "We love to get involved at an early stage so that we can build in the design features that make your home stand out from the crowd. Karen is incredibly talented. The experience from our first meeting was top class. Her ideas are excellent and there is a willingness to adapt in order to meet with individual requirements and budget. She uses an excellent set of sub contractors and the end result is perfect. We enlisted Karen @ Renaissance Interiors to help us with the interior design of our home that was being fully refurbished. Karen helped us with the design elements of the Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen and Media Room. Once, we filled in the initial questionnaire that inquired about of tastes, preferences and budget, Karen then came us with an initial 3D model and Mood Boards that incorporated our wishes. The initial draft hit the target and we only had to make small adjustments to it as we went along. This design then served as vision of the finished house. This was vital, while we were going to the build with the builders, as there were numerous trade off to be made and having a clear vision of what the final house would look like help steer the decisions. Karen was also invaluable in helping us chose the layout, colours, fabrics, furniture, soft furnishings of each room to make it a warm, well thought of and executed room - without this the rooms would not have come together harmoniously. Although we exceeded the original budget allocated towards interior design, in the end we feel comfortable with the choices made and compromises accommodated. We now finishing off the remaining bits of the interior design as budget and time permits and hope to conclude later this year.

Karen’s professionalism is outstanding: she clearly has yeaaaaaars of experience behind her and her patience with me was incredible, especially as I was faced with the “impossible equation” of what I needed for my bedroom (= blackout blinds and curtains to completely block out the morning light) and what I actually “like the look of” (I tend to gravitate more towards a rustic/chic look, as opposed to “heavy formal curtains”) and she managed to come up with technical and design suggestions that somehow combined the two, she helped with everything, the choice of fabric, curtain pole, trims, even the carpet on the floor, and from a “manufacturing/fitting” point of view I knew I was in safe hands and indeed I was : my bedroom now looks fantastic and it ticks all my boxes! Thank you!!

We contacted Remaissance Interiors to help reburbish our sitting room. Karen arrived and was very enthusiastic and full of ideas, many of which had simply not occurred to us, and we were very pleased with all her suggestions. She was extremely helpful, and very patient, as we had to delay several times. Her eye for colour is, I think, amazing, and I felt we were in very competent hands. Everything she arranged for us happened as planned, and on time. I would have no hesitation in asking Renaissance Interiors for help in the future with other projects.

Very professional - we were looking for someone to guide us in creating a welcoming and comfortable living room based on some existing furniture. Karen reconfigured the room to make the best use of the space, added some additional pieces of furniture, defined the colour scheme and proposed some gorgeous fabrics and wallpaper to bring together a beautiful living room that we are happy to sit in and happy to use as an entertaining space.

We first started working with Karen while our house was being built. Having chosen to build a large log house we needed ideas of how to style the interior. She has a great talent for listening to what you would like, solving the problems and then coming up with fabulous designs. Karen helped us with the finishing details of the build and then over the past months has been helping create an individual style for each of the rooms. It has been a challenging project and currently she and her team are still working on finishing our open plan living area. From our hunting lodge style bar to my beautiful dressing room she has created our fabulous and very indivual home.
