Revival by Design

After relocating from Canada to England with no furniture and no knowledge of finding good quality home decor, I needed help and found Hannah and Matt, owners of Revival Design. Not only did they save me time and money on potential purchasing mistakes, but the transformation of my open-concept kitchen-living room exceeded my expectations. From our first conversation, I could tell these were my people. They are super friendly, good listeners and helped me explore my style ideas. They walked me over the plan and were always mindful of my budget. As a result, I finally feel at home here in the UK. I am incredibly proud to have visitors in my beautiful space. I would highly recommend Hannah and Matt for any interior design needs, from a small project like the cushions they designed for my outdoor sectional sofa to an entire room remodel. Hannah and Matt are one talented team!!!

We cannot fault the experience we had with Matt and Hannah from Revival by Design! We had a big project to carry out and they made the whole experience enjoyable and far easier than we could have imagined. Hannah and Matt came to our house to measure for blinds in our bedroom and also took two bedside tables, a stand alone mirror and a chest of drawers to be completely transformed with paint -they did a fabulous job - we love the blinds and the furniture and also bought Vintro paint from them for the walls. They also suggested having some cushions made from the left over fabric which look fab! It was great to be able to look at all the colour options alongside the fabric and it came together so well. The whole room is just gorgeous - we're so pleased as it was well overdue for a makeover. We would highly recommend Hannah and Matt for any interior design needs you have and we will definitely use them again for our next project :)

For years I have been collecting whisky, spirits and Belgian beers. The many bottles started to collect dust in my garage and I needed somewhere to show off my extensive collection. When I saw the quality of work and imagination in the designs on display at Revival by Design I knew I had found the right people to build me a full-scale cocktail bar in my home to showcase my collection. I was not disappointed. The design and build quality of my cocktail bar have shown great imagination, ingenuity and flair. I could not be happier with the end result and would recommend Revival by Design to others looking for a quality bespoke project.

I went into Revival by Design to see what paint they had. Not only did they have great paint, I also bought a splendid, small winged armchair covered in recycled leather, and had two lampshades made, all of which turned a utilitarian home office into a very comfortable library/study/snug. I had also seen, photographed and measured a very comfortable, leather winged armchair. Unfortunately it wasn't in great condition, and I wanted a fabric covered one for the sitting room. Revival were able to get a copy made for me that is beautifully crafted, and ridiculously comfortable. I cannot speak too highly of the friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service that I received.

Having had both work completed by Revival by a Design (a beautifully restored side table) as well as assistance with choosing and using chalk paint myself, I have always found that both Hannah and Matthew will go out of their way to help in any way possible. I have had many comments on how beautiful the side table is - the finish is fantastic and the price for completion was extremely reasonable. Fantastic service and always with a smile.

Hannah and Matthew were very professional, they listened to what we were looking for and the colours that we wanted to incorporate into our room. After a colour consultation in our home, where we looked at complementary colours to tie in with the fabric we had chosen for our blinds, cushions and lampshades, Hannah suggested wall colours that were restful and in keeping for a bedroom, whilst working with the south facing aspect. The blinds, cushions and lampshades were all hand made to order with a very surprisingly quick turn around and are of extremely high quality. I would certainly recommend Revival by Design for your project if you are looking for a personal, bespoke service driven experience. DBT York
