My husband and I worked with Run for the Hills to help make our beautiful house into a home. They were on board right from the start, working with us on the indicative floor plans, guiding on bathroom and kitchen selections, creating concepts for each of the other rooms in the house and the finally sourcing, purchasing and styling each of the spaces. We had completed the styling and sourcing a few months before we saw all the pieces come into the house so we were a little apprehensive if we'd love them just as much in person but we absolutely needn't have worried. Every single piece that was delivered into the house was more gorgeous than the last and the final spaces are so much more than we could have hoped for. We worked predominantly with Mimi and Lizzie throughout the project while also having contact with Anna, Mark and Gemma. The whole team worked so hard on the project for us and were an absolute joy to work with. We could not fault the entire process and would thoroughly recommend the team to anyone looking for support in transforming their house.

My very small, very unfashionable Edwardian terraced house needed a total redesign to provide larger, more comfortable and (much!) more stylish accommodation. Run for the Hills were in at the start of the project, managing very quickly to understand my likes and dislikes when it comes to interior design, and to distil my extremely vague notions of what I wanted into clear, costed proposals which, with really very little tweaking, formed the basis of my wonderful new living-space. They kept in close contact with me throughout, coming up with creative suggestions for everything from room layouts, décor and lighting, to flooring, curtains, blinds, furniture (new and, where I’d chosen to retain what was there before, existing) and other fixtures & fittings, not to mention designs for a new kitchen and bathroom. They worked closely with the builders, providing floor-plans, elevations detailed joinery drawings and more or less everything that was required to realise their proposals. I am delighted with the results which I absolutely could not have achieved without their input. Thanks, guys!

We have worked with Run for the Hills twice now at our property in North London and honestly could not be happier with how they designed our spaces. Our second space they designed was a bit trickier as we asked them to work with a bunch of existing elements and they nailed it! They were a pleasure to work with, always professional, kind and kept to a tight schedule. Couldn’t recommend them enough :)

RFH did an amazing job designing our flat in London and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They took the time to really understand our requirements and style and the end result is fabulous. Everyone who comes to stay absolutely loves the space! Along with great design they also worked to the agreed timescales and budget and challenged us to take a few risks - which really paid off! They are a lovely bunch of people to work with - making the whole experience a lot of fun. In fact we enjoyed it so much we are delighted to be working with them again on our new family home.

I was overseeing a complete renovation of a 5 bedroom period house and with so many decisions to make wanted some professional help with the interiors. We didn't have a huge budget to work with, but the team at Run for the Hills were brilliant at helping us with the key decisions and bringing a cohesive style throughout the property. They've been super helpful throughout the process and have always gone the extra mile to make sure we're happy with the final result. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Imperial Building Solutions

We worked on a project with Run For The Hills last year which was to install two new bathrooms for one of their high profile residential clients. It was a pleasure to work with Anna and the team, they were on call for any design queries that we had and were very quick in providing input or making necessary amendments, which for a contractor is very important when working with a designer. The end result was stunning and the client was left very happy, which I think both parties can take great pride in.

I worked with Run for the Hills on a large interior design project, as their curtain and blind maker; Willow & Bee Curtains. They were extremely professional, communicating the brief carefully and in good detail and informing me of any changes with plenty of time. Venta Construction

We have worked with Anna and Eloise on a remodeling project in Central London, The project was mainly managed by Eloise and her eye for details is unquestionable. It's not always easy to balance esthetics with function but Eloise (and Anna) have learned to listen to the client and ourselves in order to accomplish the task. The team of Run for the Hills works in a professional manner and they are very detail-oriented, they see the complete project through from floor plans to custom furniture, accessories, etc. Overall a great experience and we look forward to working with them again!

We were so impressed with RftH. The ultimate result has been absolutely fantastic - we love love love our new home! RftH worked on the whole design scheme for our house, selecting materials and finishes and paint colours for us to choose from. They found us curtains and lighting, and of course worked up designs for our kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Their design ideas were always so well tailored to our own taste, but encouraged us to try new things we wouldn't have gone for ourselves. RftH were really easy to work with, and they took pride in getting each stage of the process just right. We've already recommended them to lots of our friends!

We worked with Run for The Hills on the recent Houzz of 2018 project, supplying the bathroom fittings. We were impressed by the level of creativity at the company and to ability to overcome the obstacles (with good humour and attention to detail) that creating a luxury bathroom in a tall, listed town house unsurprisingly threw up.

Ever since our time studying together at the KLC School of Design, Anna has always had a unique and eclectic style, combined with a genuine flair for creative interiors. We’ve frequently caught up over the years and bounced ideas off each other in terms of both project creativity as well as client management and business processes and procedures. The project we've worked on that sticks out in my mind the most, is back in March 2013. Anna was working on the “Buckingham Palace Eco-fantasy room” which was a celebration to honour the Royal Warrant Holders and Anna sought my help in sourcing eco/pretty bulbs for chandeliers, and other sustainable input. She specifically sought my advice on how better to source and implement fabrics, textiles and hard materials from the fellow local exhibitors in terms of a sustainable and responsible design ethos. The idea was to use British companies to lower the carbon footprint. I can say with confidence that any client engaging Anna is guaranteed a unique and personal design experience, with a guarantee of a meticulously-realised and one-of-a-kind result.

I have known Anna professionally for a number of years and admire her hugely. She is a rising star in the world of interiors with an impressive client and project list. Anna’s love of colour and originality manifests itself in lovely one-offs from art to furniture and quirky accessories in the form of both vintage and next generation pieces which are mixed with a healthy smattering of high street brands. Dom Designs

Anna Burles approached me in 2013 for some help with one of her projects for a flagship coffee shop in an architectural landmark in Novosibirsk, Russia. My knowledge of the Russian language as well as the design market was a skill her team didn't have at the time so I jumped right in. It took me some time to source the materials, equipment and various suppliers for her project which resulted in a 3 day intense trip to the capital of Russia with herself and another colleague to meet with the selected suppliers and visit numerous showrooms. We had a fantastic time with Anna in Moscow and I am delighted that we were such a good team during our short burst of cooperation. Anna is a fantastically creative person with a vast practical experience across multiple design fields, to which she has now added some Russia-specific knowledge. She is an amazing conceptual designer who can tackle anything - from brand identity to bespoke wardrobes.
