We appointed Sara Slade Interior Design to oversee the full refurbishment and redecoration of the communal areas within our 58-apartment, red-brick mansion block in Chelsea, SW10. The building, which had not been modernised since the early 1990s, required a comprehensive upgrade to elevate both its aesthetic and functional appeal. Our brief was straightforward: enhance the building’s desirability, boost sales' prices and rental values, and create a sophisticated environment for our residents. Sara Slade Interior Design presented a meticulously considered concept, which was aligned seamlessly with our commitment to delivering shareholder value and achieving a premium finish. The results were exceptional. Within just 3 months of completion, we sold 3 apartments with an average uplift of 13% in £ per square foot. One of our penthouses achieved a record-breaking sale price, marking the highest transaction in the building’s history, despite a slower market. We really enjoyed working with Sara Slade Interiors to design, purchase and project manage through completion on our new build. Jess was amazing at taking on feedback, imagining a space that worked for my family and really making it feel like “us”. When you first move into a new build, you can be overwhelmed by how white everything is. We didn’t know where to start. We gave Jess a few pieces that matched our taste and some direction on how we would like the spaces to function and feel. She really nailed it, and after 6 months living in the space, it truly does feel like our home. It’s perfect. & thank you Cree for chasing and organising all the furniture deliveries and work that was done. Sara has transformed both our kitchen and lounge. With a space we had found difficult to work with, she has managed to combine family living with style and comfort. We have just completed yet another stunning project for Sara Slade Interiors. Sara's eye for colour, textiles and furnishings is just phenomenal and we're always left in awe on just how creative her designs are and the changes they bring to each room. For this particular project Sara made some clever changes to the lighting and her choice of lighting fixtures and the effect they had was just exquisite. I moved into a newly developed flat practically without any furniture. Sara did a great job in providing a plan from start to finish. While some suggestions seemed too expensive, outlandish or not to my taste to begin with, in then end I came to realise that Sara was 100% correct in all her advice. She was also very receptive to my budget and suggested items at varying price points, so that I could spend more money on items that I felt strongly about. I felt like a valued customer and that my tastes and opinions where heard and respected, while also challenged appropriately.

Sara and her team provided an excellent service, most recently for my sons bedroom. They helped to transform an idea to reality and both my son and I were extremely pleased with the outcome!

We invited Sara to come and advise us about re-decorating some rooms in the house. She quickly and astutely identified a number of fundamental problems in the way we had previously done it; things we knew didn't work, but didn't know why. She explained the problems and what we could do to fix them and came up with practical approaches to improving the décor and making the house ‘work better’ for us. We had some embryonic ideas about re-modelling the kitchen and dining room and Sara confirmed that our concept was a good one, helped us to firm these ideas up, gave us practical guidance and help, worked with our kitchen installers and ourselves to choose colour schemes, finishes, floor and wall finishes and designed the lighting. Then, when it was all done, Sara helped us with the final finishing touches. In many areas Sara would suggest something and our reaction would be "we would never have thought of that, but it's a great idea!" - Sara provided real added value. Having Sara advising and guiding through the process was a great reassurance; her judgement and design skills were spot-on and she made all the difference to the quality and effectiveness of the end result.

Sara was really helpful and made decisions for us which I think we would of got wrong. Sara sourced some amazing furniture, carpets and curtains. We have had so many compliments! She chose some great paints from paint companies I hadn't even heard of. We are really greatful for Sara's input on making our dream home come true.

We moved to a modern house on the outskirts of Cambridge 3 years ago and wanted to change the original lighting scheme in certain areas of the house. We required better task lighting on the stairs and in the kitchen but quite a different look for the dining area. It did require a complete refit of the lighting in these areas but the result has made a huge difference in usability and mood. Following this we redecorated the main areas and Sara managed to incorporate our 'old' with her 'new' really well and we are thrilled with the result. Sara was professional and fun to work with, she had a complete grasp of the problem and how to rectify it and her recommendation of electrician and decorator were excellent. I look forward working with her again on future projects.

WOW ! That is generally the word most people use when they walk into my kitchen and orangery. I asked Sara to help me design an integrated kitchen, dining and sitting area - a large space that I wanted to have divided into different functioning zones but that flowed together. The result is smart and stylish, contemporary but timeless. Sara is great to work with she is not pretentious or luvvy, she is relaxed, friendly and genuinely cares about her work and her clients' needs. Sara will give you time, attention and respect, she is fastidious about details and will project manage everything for you if required. Even when she had finished my job she was still willing to come to me to advise on a floor tile choice, she is very generous with her time. She will listen to your requirements and respect them . At the same time she will gently nudge you out of your comfort zone and encourage you to try something new. "How much ?!!" was a phrase I often used at some of Sara's suggestions, she would listen, understand my reservations, never pushed me to bust my budget but assured me I would be pleased with the money I'd spent. I have not regretted one penny and still get so much joy and pleasure from the choices I made. I wanted the WOW factor and thanks to Sara, I have it. Sara was approachable and easy to work with and was happy for us to commission as much or as little as we wanted from design and samples through to full project management. We opted for the former and she encouraged us to be bold and brave. We were and are delghted with the results! Sara listened to us and translated what we were hoping for into reality.
