SKIN is a boutique interior design firm specialising in high end residential homes & properties. After 25 years in the industry SKIN is proud to launch its London Office. Based in Chicago and coming soon to Miami, SKIN interior design has worked on projects nationally and internationally and now we are very excited to bring our sense of design to the London market. Interior Designer Lauren Lozano Ziol and Graphic Designer Michelle Jolas have a combined 40 years of design experience. They have merged their talents to take interior design to a new level. “We like pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone to do new and different things. Every project we do is classic, timeless and chic, with an edge.” SKIN brings a cosmopolitan perspective to design by introducing interior design shopping trips; customizable, luxury interior design shopping excursions to cities around the world. SKIN also features Lauren’s furniture line, Michelle’s photography and vintage jewelry. HOSPITALITY While rooms of a home aim to deliver a feeling, rooms of a hotel, we believe, deliver an experience. Our goal is to exceed guests’ expectations as soon as they open the lobby door, again when they step off the lift, and finally, once again, when they open the door of their room. Comfort is certainly key in hospitality. And we never back down from the challenge of creating the ultimate comfort while eclipsing the standard for great interior design.

Having auditioned over 5 interior designers SKIN Interior were the overwhelming choice to style my Edwardian period property in North London. Lauren and her team are amazing at bringing our vision to reality and working within the confines of the budget specified. From mood boards to in person meetings viewing the actual furniture/fittings they really go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with the service and end product. Couldn’t recommend SKIN Interior anymore and have already started referring them to my network.

I have enjoyed every second working with Lauren and Michelle. They have opened my eyes to so many exciting fabrics, wallpapers, colors, ideas and materials. With them, I've felt safe taking new and exciting risks outside my usual comfort zone. So far, Lauren has helped update our kitchen, dining room and upstairs hall in our Chicago home. I feel that our selections are an elevated interpretation of our personal style, and we have achieved truly unique spaces that we enjoy daily.

I have worked on several projects with Lauren over the years and have never been disappointed. I really can't say enough wonderful things about working with Lauren, but I will try. Of course Lauren has exquisite taste and brings beauty and sophistication to each project she does, but she also does so in a way that respects the needs, lifestyle, and tastes of her clients. Each project we have done has felt uniquely ours, taken to a level we could not have arrived at on our own. I have never been Lauren’s largest client, but she has always treated her work with me with urgency and enthusiasm that shows she takes my projects seriously and gives them full attention and thought. Working on a limited budget, she has always been able to find ways to economize when possible and splurge when necessary for greatest impact. Finally, let me say that working with Lauren is simply a joy! She has incredible ideas and passion but never forgets that creating personal spaces should be exciting and fun.

Working with Lauren and Michele at Skin couldn’t be better. We’ve been working on my home bit by bit for years now and I love every room. I do a double take every time I walk in because I cannot believe I have a home I love to look at and live in so much. Lauren taught me to love and value provenance - and I’ve come to collect special pieces with interesting design history. I’ve also come to love mixing periods and styles to come up with a look that is uniquely suited to me, my husband and my family. Lauren and Michele communicate well and deliver what’s promised. They make the design and execution process seem like a breeze. They also did a tremendous job helping me determine what design elements were worth investing in and where I shouldn’t spend as much. Work with SKIN, you’ll love the sophisticated and stylish result for years to come.

Working with the SKIN Interior Design team was an exceptional experience. They have an amazing ability to understand the framework of a project and have then always translated that into a design beyond my wildest dreams. They know how to bring a home alive and add the unexpected touches that make it unique, beautiful and place you never want to leave. Lauren has an amazing ability to mix antiques, mid century and modern to transform your home like no other. She uses color, texture, and prints to tie the entire house together. Her style is amazing! I am really impressed with her ability to make each of her homes unique and capture the personal style of the homeowner.
