“We had an ex council house newly extended with a loft conversion that my family weren’t able to move into. My intention was to make it suitable for Airbnb short-term holiday rental. Helen had almost a clean pallet to work with – the only existing furniture was a leather sofa and armchair. Helen listened carefully to my wife’s preferences as the house would become our home at some point. The idea was to have a calm relaxed vibe which very much connected the house to the mature and beautiful garden. Helen (and Claire) excelled in their design. They were also very flexible in how they worked with me – sometimes acquiring some pieces and the other times I bought and built myself. The result is a magnificent interior that fully meets our needs and has the needs of Airbnb guests (and hosts) in mind. The rooms photograph superbly and everybody I’ve shown it to is extremely complementary about its appearance. Both Helen and Claire were diligent in their attention to the small details especially helping me with the smaller items. They also selected very cost-effective furniture meaning that I got $1 million look for much less! I heartily recommend Coral Interiors.”

“Marí and team were absolutely incredible from start to finish. I found Blank Canvas Creative on Houzz and reached out over email – Marí responded almost immediately to set up an introductory call, and from there things took off. My scope was design and project management / implementation for a modern two bedroom flat (excluding bathrooms) in central London. Marí and Beatrice took my vision of a warm, cosy resort-style theme and executed it flawlessly and within my budget! Marí has an excellent eye for design (and lovely pieces of furniture/art) but is also able to issue-spot expertly in terms of practical matters – she noticed and corrected lots of little things which now make living in the flat much more convenient (bigger bins, sun-reflective blinds etc). The contractors, managed by Marí, are also a sound, trustworthy bunch who I always felt comfortable with working in my flat, even when I was not around. They worked around my needs (as I lived in the flat as the works were ongoing), moving my bare necessities from room to room as they worked, they understood the limitations of the space, and were respectful of building/management approvals. I’ve always heard horror stories around home refurbishment and am quite pleased to say I had an easy time of it with Marí and team. I’m so happy with how things turned out and would not hesitate to recommend Blank Canvas Creative to anyone I know.”

“I first met Gary and Elaine 15 years ago when they designed and project managed the overhaul of a modern townhouse to create a very special and unique space. They were very attentive to my requirements but never afraid to challenge my own preconceptions. The use of space was excellent to fulfil all practical requirements but to leave rooms feeling spacious and uncluttered. The rooms were also great aesthetically, with an amazing use of colour and texture throughout. It was sad to leave the property, but the sales price was substantially above any that had been achieved on any similar properties in the street before – a testament to the value that Walk’s designs add. I am now in a 1930s property which has required a different approach, but Elaine and Gary have produced more excellent design ideas which are completely sympathetic to the period of the house. It is often the smaller details which transform the space and create light and balance – such as the opening-up of a doorway or the use of bold splashes of colour and texture. I can’t wait for the build work to start to see the end results. Many thanks Gary and Elaine for all your help over the years!”
