At Strive For Design we offer a unique home accessories, bathroom and kitchen showroom. We pride ourselves in being a personalised service, making visions reality to suit your budget. Our living showroom allows you to really see and taste what the finished product in your home will be like. We are a small family run business with over 20 years experience doing personalised homes for all home and commercial property owners. We pride ourselves in trust and confidentiality and also offer a construction service for all refurbishments, extensions etc. All our kitchens are made by our team to suit your requirements. Furniture can be made to order and we are always up to date with trends. We stock over 400 suppliers and have over 1000 wallpapers and fabrics in store. Lighting, Tiling, Flooring, Glassware, Bathrooms, Worktops, Furniture are just a few of the items we provide. Pop in for a cuppa!

Leigh has just completed the second phase of our ongoing house redecoration and we couldn't be happier. We are building a Granny Annexe for my elderly parents. They were worried about moving from a traditional property into a brand new white box. We needed to design a space that felt homely but modern for them. Leigh and her team have designed a scheme that is beautiful, practical and discreetly suitable to their needs. They provided us with a number of images for us to be able to move around the scheme. Looking at it from different angles. We will be using Leigh again for our next project.

Wow, absolutely fabulous showroom, from bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, fabrics wallpaper, it’s all here, & level of service is exception. Well worth the visit from Essex. Only 40min drive tops. Leigh is welcoming & listens intensely to what you are looking for. Full of ideas & brilliant advice, her showroom is just a tip off the iceberg of her suppliers, connections & knowledge. She has beautiful products, some brands you have heard of, others maybe not, Leigh has sourced globally, & they are stunning finds. I now have a new lease of life to get our renovation completed, I was so confused & struggling to know what to do. Nothing is too much trouble, & Leigh approaches your project with passion & enthusiasm, & treats your project individually rather than cloning one project to the next, which I have seen locally on repeat!! Absolutely fabulous find. Leigh will be designing all of our projects, can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Leigh & the team.

I cannot recommend Strive for Design highly enough. Leigh is so knowledgable, passionate and genuinely interested in every aspect of design. She is definitely not a “copy and paste” interior designer… as is the norm these days.. that seems to make everyone’s homes look the same with no different ideas. Leigh thinks outside the box, has so many different ideas, and seems to be able to interpret my thoughts and understand my jumbled waffley descriptions ! She is absolutely fantastic, will definitely use her in any future projects . Her showroom is just lovely and welcoming just like she is ! Thank you so much

I started working with Leigh and her team over a year ago. Both my wife and I had just purchased a 5 bedroom house in Cambridge and wanted help with designing two reception rooms. This evolved into Strive for Design designing, renovating and installing 4 bathrooms, a new kitchen design, and all bedrooms along with a hallway that has completely transformed the light and whole vibe to the entrance. From the start Leigh provided us with 2D plans, samples to choose from for each room, finishes and ideas that we would never have thought of. It was great to work with Leigh and we are extremely pleased with the end result. We handed the whole project for a complete lounge re-design over to her and her team. She listened well to our own wish list, incorporating it into the overall design concept. Communications were excellent throughout as were the team of contractors used on the various different aspects of the project. We have no hesitation in recommending Strive for Design to anyone wanting a first class result.

Leigh and her team at strive for Design have relocated me to an new build apartment in Cambridge which had nothing in it other than a new kitchen and all bathrooms. Leigh designed the whole apartment to a very high standard with bespoke headboards and beds, a floating TV unit to house Sky and some small accessories, along with a sofa occasional chair, dining table and chairs, curtains and blinds, outdoor furniture for the terrace and small accessories throughout. Leigh managed all the TV and Sky installation and set up accounts with BT and all services for the apartment. The turnkey service I was provided meant I had nothing to do with any of the above apart from moving in with my clothes. I would highly recommend Leigh and her team not just for the turnkey service she provided but for her design and high quality that she supplies.

Leigh has done several projects in our house - most recently a new bathroom, a downstairs cloakroom and some new carpets. She has amazing ideas and really knows how to create a wow factor. Then she sources all the materials, brings together the various skills needed for the job and project manages the job perfectly. I can't recommend her highly enough - the results are amazing

I approached Leigh initially for advice and inspiration for a dull and gloomy hallway. She quickly made suggestions for some beautiful console tables, statement mirror and amazing copper lighting. The copper lighting really lifted the whole area and showed off my attic flooring to its best. I was so impressed I asked her to redesign an ensuite bathroom for the guest bedroom. It is now modern, practical and stylish. Some really interesting and different thing that I would never have thought of by myself. The work was completed quickly and to a high standard with no mess or convenience to us. Top class job and looking forward to commissioning another new bathroom soon.
