Timothy James Interiors recently undertook a commission from me to totally refurbish my 4 bedroom duplex apartment at The Richmond Bridge Estate. This is a very high quality and prestigious development. Tim was briefed and commissioned at the initiation of the project and produced creative concepts in line with the brief. I found the creative concepts to be detailed, understandable and logical. Once the concepts were agreed, after amiable discussion and amendments, Tim then suggested materials and specific finishings. This was all then put into detailed plans and budgeted. Essentially this was the end of the design phase. Tim was also charged with contracting and supervising all the refurbishment and installation. All the work was conducted to a high standard and within budget. An important aside was an accident that Tim’s contractor had at the end of the project when one of their workers dropped a can of paint on the hallway carpet, causing significant damage. They immediately offered to replace the carpet in the hallway. However, I rejected this as an unsatisfactory resolution as the difference between the hallway carpet and the stairs was notable. They accepted my position and also changed the (undamaged) stairway carpet. This was all done as promptly as possible. I believe this incident is an excellent example of the professionalism of both Tim and the contractor he recommended, both in the way they conducted themselves and for having insurance protection in place. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend Tim together with his preferred contractors for quality interior refurbishment projects.

I worked with Tim on the total refurbishment of my flat which is in a 1930's mansion block. Much of this was done at a distance as I had to spend time in Australia. Tim is extremely professional , he really listened to my ideas but did all the hard work in putting it all together. The end result was fantastic and I would have no hesitation in recommending his project management skills and advice on interior design.

When I purchased my new property, I was keen to put my own stamp on the place but felt pressured for time and manageability due to my busy working life. Of the several interior designers I considered, Tim was my instinctive and trusted choice as he proved to be proactive from the outset in listening to and understanding my style, preferences, specific requests and budget. Through close and honest interaction, Tim and his design team helped to transform my apartment into a liveable home that fits with my taste and needs. They aided the process by creating sample boards that served to steer my vision. Tim was extremely patient in searching out colour-schemes, materials and items that aligned with the end-result in mind and on paper. I was able to have complete faith in him for smoothly and very effectively coordinating the ordering and delivery process. Also carpentry, joinery (including bespoke bookcase, shelving and wardrobe units), plumbing and decorating work. Tim’s commitment and hands-on management of the project alleviated a significant burden from me. I later commissioned his team to design a Monet-themed garden for me, which they again took the reins on in delivering on time and fully to specification, adding extra character to the property exactly as I had dreamt of. Tim offers a superior quality design service, encompassing sound implementation too. I would highly recommend him and his team to any new clients.

I hired Tim to redesign several rooms in my flat and to project manage the refurbishment. I chose him over others because he seemed to understand what I was looking for in terms of the design, and because his prices were reasonable. I am very happy indeed with the designs he came up with and how they have been implemented by the contractors he found. The refurbishment took a bit longer than originally promised and there were a few minor niggles, but these were sorted out easily enough. Tim is great at keeping in touch and is easy to talk to. I felt I could trust him to organise everything, even when I moved out for several weeks while the decorators were in. My trust was rewarded with a wonderful flat, more beautiful than I could have hoped, that feels like new and is getting great comments from everyone who visits.

I chose Liller Interior from a number of interior designers I found online, to decorate and furnish my new-build three bedroom apartment. The brief was to produce contemporary schemes for all rooms. For a fixed fee, Tim worked really hard to create the designs, providing me with floor plans and montage boards showing the proposed furniture and accessories room by room. Tim was always readily available by phone and email to discuss ideas and suggestions. He made regular visits to my apartment, and we exchanged innumerable emails, considering various options. Tim was admirably patient with my regular changes of heart. Tim has a range of contacts who will do any necessary work, so there is no need to get anyone else involved. His decorator was particularly professional, going out of his way to ensure I was happy. While I was away, Tim effectively took charge of the project, going to the apartment to receive and unpack furniture. Despite the concierge staff at my block being generally obstructive, he stayed calm and got on with the job. My budget was rather tight, which Tim didn’t find easy - some of his initial estimates were exceeded, as was his time estimate for project management. However, he strived to deliver the goods and eventually agreed to drop his hourly rate to help me towards the end. All things considered, I am very happy with my home, which has been entirely transformed, as shown on the Liller Interior website. It is clear from Tim’s portfolio and his work on my project that he takes great pride in what he does. I am very grateful for all his hard work and would welcome potential clients for a personal viewing of the apartment.
