Our goal was to move our home office from being a dingy dark room that nobody wanted to go into to a place a could happily work from home. Tonic design got us there with an excellent eye for the practical and esthetic. I was delighted to find Anthony through my daughter's recommendation. He was reliable and kept me informed all the way through the project which was to repair, strip and oil my very tatty dining room, hall and landing floorboards. He also repaired the staircase and very cleverly rebuilt the top step so as to make a proper half landing into the bathroom. My husband was particularly delighted with this improvement. The results were amazing, have transformed how the house feels and have made it much easier to keep clean as the dust and fluff from our pets does not stick to the oiled finish. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Anthony for any of your carpentry projects. I thought he was really good and not stupidly expensive either.

Tonic design recently sanded and oiled my very old pine floorboards. The result was a resurrection of the wood which glowed with colour and grain. Anthony has sympathy with the wood and takes pride in doing an efficient job almost without mess. I have no hesitation in recommending his first class service st a reasonable price.
