Velvet Bloom is a residential interior design and styling consultancy, based in Northamptonshire Hi, I’m Lauren! I am a passionate, self-employed Interior Designer. I value the importance of collaboration and always strive to understand my clients' visions. It is important to me to understand the aesthetic aspects but also prioritise functionality and practicality. If it hadn't been for Lauren my wife and I would still be discussing our various but inconclusive ideas for our lounge and hallway refurbishment. We are so pleased we found Lauren. She immediately bought our attention to what mattered most in a very professional and personal manner. Living in an old property brings its own unique problems not least of which, in our particular case, the unusual shape of the room(S). She listened carefully to our requirements and proceeded to solve several issues that were concerning us. Subsequent visits to discuss her ideas followed and nothing seemed too much trouble and her attention to detail was impressive together with excellent communication. The provision of two mood boards enable us to home in on her recommended features, products and suppliers. We have no hesitation in recommending Lauren to you if you are looking for a personal interior design service which will exceed your expectations.

If you are looking for someone to transform your home then Lauren is the person for you. From the moment we met Lauren we just loved her enthusiasm, kindness and fresh ideas. My husband and I live in a new build house and wanted to create a contemporary but warm and inviting home. Lauren had a tough challenge in meeting both mine and my husband different ideas but she managed to come up with a design which we both loved. Lauren is extremely patient and puts an incredible amount of effort into making sure she understands what style you like. We have had a huge amount of compliments on how beautiful our home looks but most importantly my husband and I just love it and will always use Lauren for any future projects. Thank you Lauren!

We first started our interior design project with Lauren in October 2017 through the Laura Ashley Design Service. She has been fabulous! She understood our brief, our vision from the onset and helped us achieve our desired look. Lauren’s attention to detail and her understanding of customers needs are second to none. We felt so comfortable inviting her into our home and embarking on the redesign of it. She made the whole process easy and took away the stress of us having to source all the items ourselves.
