Sam is a wonderful designer and project manager. She has an intuitive sense of what works in a space and she understood what my style was immediately. Her taste and vision are imaginative, bold, and and fun. I loved what she proposed for our renovation the instant I saw it. Sam managed our entire renovation project on a turnkey basis, and was a joy to work with. She was always responsive, helpful, and great at communicating. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no wrinkle couldn't be ironed out, she always had a glass half full approach to every single setback. During the works she managed several different tradespeople and contractors, without us having the hassle of getting involved with any of it. It was a completely stress free experience, and walking through the door for the final "reveal" was a day I will never forget. She also managed the upkeep of the property on an ongoing basis for a few years and again was incredibly helpful and always brought a problem solving approach. Her services were excellent value for money and I don't regret for one moment my choice of Sam as our designer.

I asked Sam to come and give me some design ideas for the faily small bedrooms we have. We have never had the time to think about what to do and havent had the confidence to more than paint it every few years. She is easy to contact and always replies promptly. She arrived at the house on time. As soon as she walked into each room she noticed the potential and gave me amazing ideas about colours lighting decoration and furnishing using colour swatches and material. She wrote notes and sent me links on what she had talked about and detailed descriptions on what she had talked about which arrived a day later. Each room was treated individually and differently. She is extremely skilled at what she does, a very friendly person and I would recommend her services to anybody.

As a person who knows what she likes in a house, but never seems to be able to achieve that look - Sam's consultation visit was a breath of fresh air! She was genuine, and very approachable (felt as if I'd known her for years!) She provided me with loads of interesting, yet practical ideas that were feasible without too much expense. Well......what can I say? Sam Wagstaffe is brilliant & an exceptional interior designer. Enough said? She listens carefully to your ideas and then comes back with her designs & colour suggestions & costings - which I have to say have always been A1. Her attention to detail & quality of her work is second to none. Sam sticks to a budget you set. No arguments. I have used Sam on 4 projects over the past 5 years, all completely different from each other, ranging from Glamping Lodges, Golf Clubhouse Bar, Safari Tents, and a Restaurant function room. This shows the skills and depths of her expertise. Believe me, I have used designers in the past, and some are an absolute nightmare. Not Sam. Always with a happy smiling face, working all hours, and very very reasonable costs. You would be mad to go anywhere else. Enough said!

Wigwam Design have provided us with two amazing schemes for our lounge and hallway. We will definitely be using Sam again in the future as we make our way around the house refurbishing from room to room. If you're planning a project of your own I would suggest you call Sam earlier rather than later to avoid making any expensive design mistakes with either layout , furnishing or decoration.

I hired Sam to work on an individual room in my rural cottage. The existing room was suffering badly from damp and was cold all year round due to a total lack of insulation and poor windows. Sam managed the entire project from start to finish, dealing with all the trades on site to complete the build. To start with the room was tanked and insulated. The existing open fireplace was made into a feature with a multi fuel stove installed. The room has windows on two aspects and both sets were replaced with double glazed sash units, in keeping with the rest of the property. A new insulated and highly robust floor covering was installed. Sam used a local network of trades, all of whom worked well and deserve their own praise. When the time came Sam proposed a layout to make the room into an ideal TV watching snug. The property is quite rural and inaccessible to delivery vans. To further compound the problem the doorways into the property are small and have some tight corners and thick walls to negotiate. Sam designed, supplied and installed a very comfortable custom sofa. The brief was for it to be large, with plenty of space for a couple of people and a couple of dogs to sprawl out on and come into the house through a sash window. Sam delivered on all fronts and put in place a detailed plan to cope with the various issues the properties location has. The room is now warm, dry and very heat efficient. I believe hiring somebody to manage this type of project has proved highly cost effective. This is in part as Sam was able to provide products at a very competitive price, but also the close supervision of the project prevented costly mistakes. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with what Sam has done for us. Not only is she very pleasant, reliable and knowledgeable but has extensive ideas on how to design and improve all aspects of a house. We were really short on ideas but Sam helped us with some great suggestions, providing mood boards, contacts, prices and retailers for all her ideas. She is always willing to give advice and guidance and our house now looks so much better thanks to her input. The service is outstanding and Sam has some fabulous ideas all tailored to your personal taste, providing you with supplier and cost details removing the stress completely. After the initial consultation Sam provides you with a 'mood board' showing your design and samples of fabrics, wallpaper, paint etc. The great thing is you're not committed to purchase any products recommended nor are you committed to purchase from the Suppliers recommended - all the ideas and information are given to you after your initial consultation and then it's over to you. I would recommend Sam for any interior design project!!
