Ellie was brilliant right from the very start. Unlike other designers, she was quick to offer a home visit (no strings attached) and won us over with how carefully she listened to our requirements and the amount of time and care she took on the very first visit. From there on, it has been an absolute pleasure working with her and her team. She paid great attention to detail, kept the work to the agreed budget, gave us plenty of options, steered us gently towards making the right choices and managed the entire project meticulously and methodically. She managed the suppliers and contractors and kept us informed all along. The end result is amazing and everyone who has seen her work so far has been complementary and full of praise. We would definitely want to work with Ellie on future projects and can recommend her wholeheartedly.

We started designing the interior for our new off-plan home, which we had only seen on paper. It was the first time I had worked with an interior designer, and I'm really happy that I chose Ellie from Wolf Grey, based on recommendations from my close family. She has truly exceeded our expectations and gone above and beyond what we initially asked for. Ellie provided us with 2D and 3D layouts, along with mood boards, which have given us a very clear vision of how our interior space would look even before we move in. She has been proactive throughout the process, going the extra mile by meeting with suppliers and agencies to finalize our choices for floor, kitchen, curtain, etc. She even convinced our builder to incorporate some of the latest design trends, which they were initially resistant to. I greatly relied on her expertise for every little question I had, and she patiently explained the reasoning and logic behind her designs, making me appreciate her work even more. I wholeheartedly recommend Ellie to anyone seeking an expert interior designer.

Ellie was integral to our renovation build. We had quite a complicated planning process (living in a conservation area and having a listed building adjacent), but Ellie navigated the systems for us and was a huge reason why our planning was accepted. Although we may have ended up with the extension that was planned, it would have definitely not have been as beautiful or as well executed without her input. Ellie's designs were to an exceptionally high standard, so thoughtful of our needs and tastes, and came up with so many ideas that my husband and I would never have thought of. She was very accessible, and went above and beyond for us throughout what was a difficult process in many respects! I felt in such good hands with Ellie, she made every part of our building work easier, we really couldn't have done it without her. It also helped that I adored everything that she came up with! She was also able to have difficult conservations with the contractors when needed, which meant I could keep a good relationship with the builders we used. I would not hesitate to recommend Ellie to anyone thinking of starting a project.

We worked with Ellie on a large extension project and she was amazing from start to finish. She supported us with design and planning permission, project managed the build and made excellent recommendations for decoration, lighting and furniture. Her trade discounts were really appreciated and everything she recommended for us was of a really good spec. She took all the stress out of the build with her experience and was on sight regularly to oversee progress. Ellie was always calm and found a solution to every issue that came up and we are so glad that she worked with us on the project. We would recommend Ellie 100% and would not have been able to do our work without her.

I took quite some time researching my preferred interior designer before settling upon Wolf Grey. And I’m extremely happy with my choice. The project has been a gradual refurbishment of my new home, starting with the entire ground floor. Ellie manages to strike that perfect balance between providing expert aesthetic and practical guidance, whilst allowing for one’s individual style to shine through. Best of all, she avoids design cliches and tactfully steers one away from one’s own dubious choices. I cannot recommend Ellie highly enough. She really listened to the problems we needed solving and gauged our taste. We have gone from a house with a living space absolutely full of toys and clutter to a beautiful clutter free zone (well almost). She designed stunning floor to ceiling cupboards, with interiors that work perfectly for all our kids’ toys. Our boys love pulling out buckets of toys and at the end of the day everything quickly and easily goes back inside and out of sight. Ellie also recommend the flooring company and the carpenter who made the bespoke joinery and they were excellent. Thank you Ellie. We’re very happy customers and enjoying all the compliments we’re getting too!!

Working with Ellie has been such a joy. Although she has a definite style of her own, she completely understood what look we were hoping for and we ended up with exactly what we wanted but with elements that we didn’t know we wanted but absolutely loved. Ellie helped us with two bedrooms and a large living area and was able to delight two of our daughters who have completely different taste. Another great aspect of Ellie’s service was the way she was able to maximise our space and think of layouts that we would never have thought of ourselves. I was really busy with work during the project and Ellie helped to make sure things were ordered at the right time and that people were booked and organised in the right order so that I didn’t really have to worry. We worked with Ellie from very early in the project to renovate an old 1950s bungalow. Working with in our budget she created a beautiful house far beyond our expectations that is described by friends as a true party house and a forever home! We love it. She worked diligently even during lockdown to source materials and keep the build going under stricter budget pressures. Ellie and her build team always maintain great communication. Highly recommended.
