Design Storeys is an interior design, styling and sourcing service that creates stylish & sustainable interiors – optimised for home health and wellbeing. We collaborate with our clients to create relaxing homes to retreat and recharge in. Where possible we use sustainable, organic, vintage or upcycled furniture, as well as low VOC materials – to positively impact your home health, as well as the environment. Our style is also influenced by biophilic design principles, which incorporate natural tones, textures, light and plants to help strengthen our innate connection with nature – which in turn helps to elevate our mood, wellbeing and indoor air quality. So, whether you are a busy professional looking to create tranquility at home, a first time buyer with a simple sourcing brief, or perhaps you’re looking to design a family home with health and wellbeing in mind – we have a range of remote or on-site services available.

I offer an initial FOC 'discovery call' to discuss your project and then a fixed charge per room starting at £250 (depending on whether at home or remote). There is also a discount for 2 or more rooms. This includes; moodboard, 2D floorplan, shopping list and action plan. I can also quote separately for multiple room or full house projects.

Hudsons Bistro

Having decided to launch a new bistro in Tunbridge Wells, I had no idea where to start in terms of turning the existing space into a more contemporary, stylish and welcoming space. I had an idea of the atmosphere we wanted to create, but I needed help developing an aesthetic that would be both modern, yet timeless. Fortunately for me, I was introduced to Design Storeys who helped bring my vision to life. Liz was very thorough in working through the concept, before developing a look and feel that complimented our vision. She was also keen to add a sense of calm and well being to the place - with the addition of as many natural materials and plants as possible. We have now been open for a week and we've already had so many positive comments from passers who've watched the renovation in progress and our new customers who love the finished result. Liz's attention to detail in the research and execution of our interiors project was very impressive. An attentive, professional job with a real eye for designing a space and the items in it. Detailed mood boards and information is provided throughout the process and presented in a concise and comprehensive way at the end. It is particularly useful to also have the floorplans, suggestions for paint colours and websites/stockists for the items included in the final ideas. Very pleased.
