Fabpad helped us find a flat in Brighton. It is a fabulous location close to the city centre and importantly, near the station for us to commute to work. The flat has a large front room with a small kitchen, a smallish bathroom and a bedroom all in a slightly awkward format. They designed the flat and helped us refurbish all rooms. We moved in October 2021. The kitchen is transformed and is super functional with a breakfast bar. We love the stylish gloss finish kitchen unit, marble effect worktop and hanging lights above breakfast bar. LED lights below wall hanging kitchen cupboards make it easy to cook in the evening. The oven microwave was a super suggestion. A little more expensive but is space saving and a must item in our compact kitchen. It takes no time to cook with super efficient induction hob. All amenities with combination of numerous suggestions of furniture, tiles, carpets for inexpensive alternatives made it easy to keep the cost down. As any of these projects would be it was over budget but we have no regrets!

The project was the complete refurbishment of a 1960s flat with a modern kitchen, bathroom, concealed lighting, replacement windows and redecoration throughout. Lara knew which experts would be required on the project and offered us details of different Structural Surveyors and Architects to choose from. She also assisted with the Planning application at City Hall. She had excellent design ideas to create an updated minimalist style and made suggestions for sourcing materials to keep within our budget. The workmen she recommended were very competent and the delivery of all the materials went smoothly and on time. The appearance and whole ethos of the flat were completely transformed which resulted in it being let by our Letting Agents on its first day on the market. Lara's ideas, creativity and energy made the experience much easier for us and we recommended her to a family member for his home improvements. Thank you, Lara
