We called in Joanne Bernstein, Garden Designer and quickly agreed that a gravel garden would be a perfect solution, especially as such a garden t requires minimal maintenance, which fitted in well with our numerous breaks away from home. The process started with a visit from Oscar who carefully listened to our requirements and after an additional visit put together a detailed proposal. Every day Oscar and his team worked hard, started and left on time, protected our floor and cleaned up before leaving (no side access), left the garden and their tools tidy, and finished exactly as planned. There were a couple of unexpected challenges like a manhole that had been hidden under an old decking for years and an unsafe wall at the back of the garden and Oscar found great solutions for both. The patio looked so good that we have compliments from everyone who has seen it! After the initial site visit Roman listened to what I have in mind for the patio, and provided a design that has been thought through and on budget. During the project Harry and Tom did all what was planned with attention to details and on schedule. In scorching heat and in rain both were always pleasant, polite and kept the site very clean and tidy.
