““ James really managed to see our vision when we weren’t even sure what it was ourselves. He took his time to listen to our thoughts, spent plenty of time going through all our likes and dislikes to really understand us, and managed to put together a garden which was beyond anything we could’ve imagined for ourselves. The kind of thing you admire at other peoples houses and never expect to have at your own… We found James incredibly relaxed and easy to work with - a genuinely lovely guy to have around. We couldn’t be happier with the final outcome and our only regret is not having done it sooner “”

“We have a 140ft long/30ft wide garden. We gave Joanne a remit to create a garden with borders of plants and flowers which would provide year round interest, attract bees, provide lovely scent, and be easy to manage. She produced a garden design which surpassed our requirements. She spent a lot of time discussing planting schemes with us, and took control of the order and delivery of the plants. She also organised and managed the building work which included a curved brick pathway, patio, and seating area. Her attention to detail, her creative flair, and her ability to translate our requirements into a wonderful garden which looks beautiful all year round, is amazing.”

“I hired Jo to advise me on how to, first clear my over grown mess of a garden and second for some ideas on how to modernise it, what plants to keep but more importantly what to do with a sunken garden, old stone wall and path we really don’t like Jo also took into account how this would all work with the future double rear extension. “Julia Cody and Jane Hamilton were recommended to me when I wanted to transform my garden. Originally it featured three different levels of decking, steps in an awkward place, overgrown trees blocking the light and boring planting. They listened to what I wanted to achieve and made some brilliant and practical design suggestions for tree surgery, extending the decking, replacing the steps, creating a paved seating area, installing an artificial lawn, planting new trees and creating new beds for planting – all of which took my preferences into account. They worked with a fabulous team of contractors to undertake the hard landscaping, who completed the work to a very high standard and with far less disruption than I feared. The project was undertaken and completed on time and within budget. I am absolutely delighted by results achieved and the new garden has been much admired by guests. I now have a great space in which to relax and entertain.”

“We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along. We are very happy in our lovely little courtyard garden and would highly recommend David. Rose and Peter”
