“James was a wonderful conractor to work with. He took our ideas and made them work in our kitchen remodel. Many times he took our ideas, expanded on them and made us even happier. He offered many suggestions to keep the costs down like the material for the cabinets, the matching of tile and granite (sorry about the 2 hours we spent picking out granite, but his patiece was greatly appreciated). Turns out he has quite an eye for what will match, and the granite he originally suggested was the one we finally decided on after changing our minds a hundred times! When we were making a design for our backsplash, he made a suggestion for us to incorporate stainless tiles with our travertine and it turned out better than anything we would have thought to pick out. The remodel of our 20+ year old kitchen included removing soffits and making room for taller cabintes, removing 2 seperate islands (that were not user friendly) and replacing it with one large one. Our outdated tile surround firplace was redone and the granite used in the kitchen was used to make a new surround (my idea, but James made it work with strategic placement of templets so that we utilized all the granite in our slabs). We will use him again in the future for a bathroom remodel, and look forward to him and Danny being part of our "family" again.”

“After speaking and getting quotes from other vendors, we found Set Kitchens online and visited their showroom on a whim. By the time we walked out, we were convinced this is who we wanted to work with. The service was so excellent and everything we saw looked so great I was sure they would be out of our budget. To our surprise, they came in with the best quote we had received. There was one week they didn't do work because I had another company installing floors throughout my entire house, so if we eliminate that, they did everything in 2 weeks!. Btw, they also do flooring, but I had contracted another company before I met them. “These people have a pretty large variety of countertop on hand, and at nearby warehouses. Unfortunately I did not find what I was looking for in their inventory, but they were able to give me a list of wholesalers to visit. I found what I needed and did the purchase/install through Rock Solid. Very quick turnaround time from pulling the trigger to a new countertop in place. Prices are pretty reasonable and lower than big box stores for better quality. I would recommend to a friend. The only negative aspect of my experience was having to make a ton of phone calls to try and catch my sales person for any questions I had during the process. They are overwhelmed with business so your best bet is just to stop by instead of calling. Since I live about 30 minutes away, the whole experience gets docked a star due to the inconvenience during the process. Aside from that minor annoyance, the price and end product met my expectations and I would do it all over again.”
