“We had our large master bathroom remodeled by JEJ Enterprises this summer and we are extremely pleased with the results. James was very easy to work with and helpful in developing the plan for the project. It was a very big job. The heart of the project was removing a large, but rarely used Jacuzzi tub, replacing it with a giant shower with a bench. The small standup shower was removed and replaced with a closet. The one-sink vanity was taken out and replaced with a new two-sink vanity. The large existing mirror and lighting fixture were removed and replaced with separate mirrored medicine cabinets and lighting fixtures over each sink. Recessed lighting over the main floor and in the shower replaced the existing single overhead light and an exhaust fan was added. A new radiant heat floor was installed under the new tile floor. James' pricing estimate was reasonable compared with the other bids we received, and his team completed the work at the time we requested. He also diagnosed the cause of water stains on our kitchen ceiling, tracking them back to leaks in the baseboard heating pipes in both our upstairs bathrooms. He and his men fixed the leaks and repaired the ceiling. He was very engaged with the project on a day-to-day basis. He made helpful suggestions regarding the materials and fixtures, but was flexible in working with our choices, giving priority to making the final result perfect for us. He introduced us to suppliers who were also helpful. His team cleaned up nightly and any inconvenience related to the project was manageable. Finally, James is very pleasant to deal with. “My present home in Carmel, NY is the 8th restoration which I have undertaken--7 of which were historic dwellings, from as early as 1720 and 1740--that included outbuildings as well. The restoration of this c. 1920 cottage was accomplished with the expertise and professionalism of Mr Constantino and the competent sub-contractors which he engaged. Mr Constantino's superb skills as a finish carpenter, tile setter and mason, as well as his innate good taste and technical expertise have produced wonderful results. The project included the almost total re-building of the main house: entry, living room, office-library, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths; the fireplace chimney required an interior reconstruction; the large open porch has become a delightful 3-season room; and the separate garage was insulated, sheet-rocked, painted. In addition. It was evident that all of the sub-contractors hold this contractor and his associates in the highest regard. In addition, at the end of each work-day, the job-site was left in mint condition. It would be a privilege to recommend RoSal as an experienced, knowledgeable, reliable and ethical contractor.”
