“From design to completion, S&S Homes does fabulous work. We contacted Tony in 2018 regarding a renovation project which required major construction. Oftentimes, projects like this are tough, especially living in the space while the renovation is in process, but they made the experience as smooth as possible. The work area was cleaned daily and communication through the entire process was excellent. We now have a much more usable, open concept layout. Thank you S&S Homes!”

“Completely gutted kitchen and one bathroom. Updated master and half bath. Wonderful company! Contractor/owner, Virgil, is honest and very particular about job being done and monitors closely. The tradesmen were outstanding. Beautiful work and very respectful of our home keeping it as clean as possible. We couldn't have asked for a better finished product. We would recommend this company to anyone. Might I add that we got three bids on our project. Kitchen Expo was not the least expensive but were the most professional and promptly responded to every question we had during our decision process. Cudos to Sandy also who gives a great, warm first impression when you walk the the showroom.”

“Emery Design & Woodwork (Ryan and his team) did an outstanding job on our stairway remodel!!! We went from drab white spindles & boring carpet to fab rod iron spindles and solid hardwood stairs. :) They were very polite, timely, courteous, conscientious, and paid great attention to detail. They finished the project in the time they promised (major bonus!). If we had questions they took the time to make sure we were satisfied. Ryan was always available to answer our questions and hear our suggestions (and, believe me, we are very particular with our home!). Last minute changes weren't an issue for this team - they really wanted to make the customer happy (and they definitely did!). :) Bottom line - they were fabulous to work with and our stairway is now transformed into a lovely showcase!!! :) Thanks again, Ryan and team, you guys are true professionals!!! :)”

“Advance electric is probably one of the best sources for unique and beautiful fixtures in northern Michigan. The staff is very helpful in selection and are generous with photos, printed information, books, etc for borrowing while you make decisions.
