“We hired Kelly Zamonski of The Kitchen Place to completely gut our kitchen in our 90 year old house. We wanted to keep the new design vintage, with the character of the old house. We worked on the layout and design ahead of time, with Kelly spending a great deal of time researching our many choice combinations. She had many original ideas that we loved and understood the look that we wanted. She was very patient with our many questions, making us feel comforted every step of the way. She gave us the details that she knew we needed, knowing that we were detail-oriented customers. She gave design advice for the function, as well as the aesthetics. We truly got our vintage, original-looking kitchen. It has very high-quality materials, craftsmanship, and design. We decided to use her sub-contractors, since they have worked togethers for many years and work well as a team. They also give the highest quality of work, and knowing that this was the only time that we would be doing this kind of project, we wanted perfection. We would highly recommend The Kitchen Place to anyone. Many friends, who have come to see our kitchen, are amazed at the transformation. One has recently gone to The Kitchen Place and ordered cabinets, because they were so impressed. We live in a neighborhood of old homes, where many are looking to remodel their kitchen, and I will definitely suggest they take a look at our kitchen and consider The Kitchen Place.”

“Loved having these guys’ help on my project. They installed LVP on my staircase (despite not recommending it), and did a wonderful job. It’s been a year since it was completed, and the stairs are still looking great. They did have to do one fix a few days after the initial installation, but they came out and did it with no questions asked. They also installed all my baseboards for me, and they look did a great job with that as well. Highly recommend!”

“This was a complete up-scale bath remodel with added closets in both the Master Bath and Master Bedroom. We worked primarily with the business owner, Richard White, the designer Cindy White, and project manager Dave Trykoski. This was an excellent experience with this team that took us from design through completion of the project. These people are extremely professional and competent. I have already signed a contract for a second project in my home and will continue to use Centerville Building and Design in the future. Our remodel is beautiful, and in the end everything and more than we originally envisioned. I attribute all this to this company because at the outset of the project I had little idea with what could be done, only that what we had was outdated and not fully functional. Now it is, and it is really, really nice adding a lot of value to our home, but we do not plan going anywhere. This was for us.”

“Hallowed Ground Home Improvement did a great job on our master bath remodel. The work was done on-time and the quality was very good. John made suggestions on what tile to use for the walls and floor along with accent tile for the border. In the end, we only made one color change from what he had initially recommended which made the sometimes daunting task of color and pattern selection very easy. We have received numerous compliments on the stunning transformation of our master bath. The only thing holding me back from a 5-star review is the tiny details. We had a few issues with caulk and grout lines not being complete or straight, but John came back out each time requested and completed the work to our satisfaction. If you're looking for a great company to do your next remodel job, I would recommend Hallowed Ground Home Improvement. Honesty and integrity is in everything they do.”

“In January 2014, I had a pipe burst in my condo. The pipe that burst was the one that provides water to the refrigerator, although my refrigerator is not hooked up to the pipe, as it doesn't have the water/ice feature. At that time, Ram Restoration was rescuing about 40 other homes in the area (probably more) for the same problem. It was happening all over town. My homeowner's association actually contracted them for me and I went with their choice in contractor because I had never worked with a contractor in town at all. Ram got the water back on within a week. I know that sounds like a long time, but given the emergency circumstances all over town, I was not at all disappointed. Within 4 weeks, they completed the renovations to my condo - fixed the walls, carpet, etc. I rent this condo out. So I had to keep my renters informed of the status of repairs, which meant I called Ram several times throughout the process in order to do that. They were SO pleasant over the phone, they answered all of my questions, and my renter was pleased with their service as well. I spoke with several of Ram's employees - the project managers, the owner, the women who fielded the calls - and everyone was such a pleasure to speak to, especially given how stressed out and overworked they must have all been during that time.”
