Arcandbe was simply outstanding throughout the entire kitchen design process. Jide offered invaluable advice and insightful suggestions, always championing my vision while gently suggesting improvements that saved me from costly missteps. The final kitchen's quality and installation are both excellent

What makes a good kitchen? Well it was my dream to have the best kitchen as I had waited more than ten years. To be honest I was open and looking for someone to understand me and a kitchen design around my lifestyle. My first experience of kitchen design was with another local company which my friends recommended me, however I was not happy as they were making more choices on the basis of what they wanted with the space, and not what I wanted from the kitchen. I also tried a larger nationwide company though again this didn't work for me as there were limited options on appliances I could order. It felt that every kitchen was looking the same. My husband approached Arcandbe, with an initial chat on the phone (while out in the supermarket!) where he passed the phone on to me. I really didn’t know Jide at this point and nothing about his company. The conversation was really refreshing as Jide asked me what type of family we were, when we enter the kitchen do we use the oven or hob? What type of cooker are you looking for, etc. I was really shocked that he was genuinely trying to understand us as a family. As soon as I put the phone down I thought that this sounded really interesting with great potential. Then we visited the showroom and saw the design that was made to fit us and our requirements. Jide included both a gas and induction cooker which fitted my requirements, large deep drawers, and one of his favourite ideas was to use the space underneath the kitchen sink (which was fantastic as my workspace now doesn’t display washing up liquid etc). Jide added all that was necessary, however also some elements which surprised me, for example the utility design where every other designer made it look similar and not with much thought. Jide made the utility very functional where it wasn’t just a place to wash and dry clothes but included a small cloakroom space for guests to place their shoes and coats. Another idea was a sensored light-up shelf which really catches the eye when one enters the utility. My whole experience was refreshing, efficient and very engaging, from the quick turnaround for the worktops, discussing colours, styles, practicality, reach, ambience, open shelf configuration etc. Later in the design I changed my mind about the colour and so Jide worked around me so that I could have a white and black look. I also took my chosen floor tiles to his showroom to match and ensure I had the right look. Jide really had the patience to understand my vision and needs. For me what is great about Jide are the special touches and you can see that he pays so much attention to detail. Everything is well thought out and so now cooking (and living) in my kitchen is a complete joy. I can’t thank Jide enough for this. So if you are reading this and thinking wow, then yes I truly recommend having your design from Arcandbe as this is an amazing service. Please keep an open mind and you will find ideas that you never thought were possible.

My experience with Jide at Arcandbe was awesome. The procedure of designing and installing my new kitchen as an entirely enjoyable experience. We had mulitple calls and exchanges alongside the on site meetings and I recall the particularly wonderful exchanges of ideas and feedback between us. Jide's expertise and creativity was so helpful in creating what I think is a very elegant and functional kitchen space and I am loving the results. Jide, done brilliant job was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating from beginning to end. Saw the project right to the end. I used my own builder, he liaise perfectly with managing everything and overlooking the complete renovation of our new kitchen. Initially, Jide offered great assistance in the design of the kitchen. He presented a variety of options that focused on my specific needs. This made the kitchen feel more personal. We were able to stay within budget and overall the quality of the final product was satisfactory. Unfortunately, the project went over the scheduled time by 3 months. Communication was overall good. Reasons for delays were detailed, however, on most occasions the reasons were forthcoming after I asked questions rather than given when challenges were encountered. Both Jide and his building team were very friendly and understanding to my frustrations with the project’s progress. I am satisfied with the final product and if I had a Kitchen to be designed again I would consider Jide as the designer.

We had a major house extension project completed earlier this year. A new kitchen and the utility room were integral to this. Right from the start, we were impressed with Jide’s personable communication, strong customer orientation and keenness to understand initimately our tastes and needs, the hard and the soft elements, and strong attention to detail. He also showed lots of flexibility in tailoring the kitchen design to our budget and providing us a range of different options iteratively both from an aesthetic and the cost point of view. He accommodated our various requests, as we took some time to make up our mind, and also provided us valuable design advice on core areas which were beyond the project scope per se eg. utility tiles, and the lighting and wall paint colours in the kitchen and linked dining areas. The kitchen installation was overall quite smooth and timely and when a couple of minor gaps or issues arose recently, Jide has been prompt in his communication and response so these can be addressed. The kitchen looks overall lovely, is very functional and convenient and we are very happy that we decided to go with Jide, a great recommendation from our extension project architect. We have no hesitation in recommending Jide to future prospective clients, he’s a pleasure to work with.

We first met Jide in 2017 and immediately were impressed with his approach. It may have taken us some time to make our final decisions regarding our new kitchen, but Jide was very patient and listened to us, giving advice and showing options. His design suggestions were spot on if somewhat out of our comfort zone! We got there in the end and are delighted with our kitchen. Would highly recommend Jide.

I met Jide while photographing some of his project. What stood out for me was his close relationship with his clients and the great attention and care he provides with his service. His projects are very imaginative and he is very good at creating functional solutions for variety of spaces. His team is excellent and I even recommended his services to my family. From the very first moment we met with Jide we couldn't have asked for the nicest, patient person to help us with the design and installation of our new kitchen.
