Nigel thought very carefully about how the type of kitchen we wanted would fit into the relevant space, and could emphasise the room's light and airy feel, This involved working through three different designs until we were happy that the final design ticked all the boxes. Nigel made good design suggestions, but also listened to our thoughts and, where appropriate, worked them into the design. As for the kitchen itself, the quality of the workmanship is second to none, attention having been given to every last detail. As a result, the end product exceeds even our most optimistic hopes and expectations. Nigel and his team were always a pleasure to work with. Really, the whole project could not have been more successful. Thanks a million (that wasn't the cost, by the way!).

We asked Nigel (and team) to visit and quote for a Kitchen. He listened carefully and added innovation to our requirements allowing us to maximize the use of space in the kitchen. His workman ship is of the best quality with materials to match and worked to our budget. It is not off the shelf therefore we needed to allow time but it was delivered to the exact time he stated. The kitchen has been fitted for a 2 years now and still as good as the day it was fitted. We are now moving home. It was one of the key selling points of the house and I will not hesitate in asking him to do my next kitchen.

Nigel and Tom from Auspicious are craftsmen. From day 1 of the project we knew we had made the right decision in choosing them to build our kitchen. We liked the fact that during the quote stage they were always available to discuss ideas and give us as much time as we needed before we made our final decision on who was awarded the project. The kitchen is a delight to both cook and eat in, we constantly find ourselves drawn to sit and read there and friends are hugely complimentary regarding the overall bespoke look and the attention to detail in all aspects from the 'boot' drawer to the huge oak plate rack. Nigel (and Tom) remained undaunted by the challenge of working with 'wonky' walls of a grade two listed house and his calm, unflappable demeanour ensured that the project was on time and within budget. From the off Nigel was thorough, inspired and creative in response to what I wanted. He worked with me, bringing lots of his own ideas, and weaving in mind. He listened really well. He and Tom worked so carefully and skilfully creating exactly the kitchen I wanted. They were flexible when I changed my mind, and stayed positive the whole way through. Their inspiration with wood is fantastic. They really love what they do. I have ended up with a kitchen that is far more beautiful, and original, than I ever thought possible. The finish is great and it has a real wow factor when people walk in. It is a piece of fine furniture that is also immensely practical. Thanks Nigel and Tom! Would recommend them without hesitation.

This is the second kitchen Nigel and his team have built for us. Both experiences have been great fun and we have been provided with beautiful kitchens which have fitted our requirements exactly and been much admired by friends and family. Nigel is really good at helping us reach agreement as to style and materials. The quality of finish is excellent and the functionality of the furniture is easy to live with and a joy to use.

Nigel Wilson of Auspicious Furniture designed and built my kitchen and also my en suite bathroom cupboards. From the outset Nigel contributed many excellent ideas, while always taking into account my own. He spent a long time in the flat talking the project through, paying great attention to the aesthetics of the job as well as the practicalities. I live in a converted, Grade II listed, woollen mill and we both wanted the work, while being modern and functional, to fit in with the character of the mill. There were also unusual technical problems to overcome in a converted industrial building and Nigel always came up with solutions with great flair and creativity. The quality of the work and materials was exceptionally high and the whole project extremely good value. I was so pleased with the result that I went back to Nigel a few months later to make cabinets and bookshelves for my bedroom and study and window shutters for the study and kitchen. He is a craftsman who cares.
