“I spent a long time researching kitchen companies. Tried the usual big players with the huge showrooms with mixed reviews. Then I read about some of the German kitchen suppliers and fitters, and their reputation for quality. This led me to Kutchenhaus in Clifton, Bristol. Originally, I used their online kitchen design app, to give me a ballpark figure for price. This compared favourably to some of the larger competitors so I booked an appointment for a design. Although the showroom in Bristol is modest, it was enough to confirm that the quality of the kitchens was good and introduce me to rest of the range. Its smaller size also meant it felt like a more personal experience and we got to spend lots of time refining our design with the manager and kitchen designer. The design process was very good. The designer was able to help us create our vision and gave us plenty of options when it came to price and to help us refine what we did and didn't want. In the end, the design was a very good price and more affordable than some others. We did, however, choose to buy our own appliances, which helped bring the price down. The delivery experience was also first rate. Despite having driven through the night to make their deliveries, the (massive and German) deliverymen were considerate and courteous. Even though we had yet to finish the room the kitchen was to be fitted in, they did not make a fuss when we asked them to load the units up in a different room. There was not a single item missing and they were thorough checking off everything from the list. We chose to have the kitchen fitted by own our fitters, rather than those from Kutchenhaus but had nothing but compliments from our fitters. Not just because of the quality of the carcasses and the door fronts, but that all the accompanying fixings ensured it was pieced together well. If I had any criticism, it would be that the door front for the dishwasher stumped our fitters. However, Kutchenhaus did send one of their own fitters to do it and proved it was far easier than we originally thought! Other than that, I would readily recommend Kutchenhaus. It was a great experience throughout, a good price (with no misleading sales - the kitchen was cheaper than others, even those having a 'sale'), no high-pressure selling and I have nothing but good things to say about the quality and finish.”

“I had a kitchen put in by Ben and his team earlier this year (mine is the 'Wandsworth' kitchen on the website) and we are really delighted with the results and can highly recommend Ben. The design was really carefully considered, and we have really noticed that attention to detail in the finished product. The installation was incredibly quick taking only one week for the actual build itself as Ben and his assistant worked incredibly long hours everyday doing on average 12 hours a day on site. All in my kitchen renovation only took 3 weeks (rip out and first fix in the first week, new floors in the second week and installation in the third week) so it was really quick and painless. It was also competitively priced as Ben often sources materials direct from suppliers and works closely with a number of suppliers. Ben and Emi are really great to deal with, they are responsive, creative in their solutions and have been great on the after care side of things as well. The best thing has been knowing that my kitchen is utterly bespoke and no-one else has the same kitchen as me!”
