This was a two part job remodel the kitchen and repair and upgrading of basement damaged in 2014 flooding my area endured.”

“Al, Owen and team did an entire house renovation for our fixer-upper. Our realtor gave us their number because of the great quality of work and after meeting with them once, I was ready to go. It was a 1960's fixer upper we were thinking about buying in our dream location and if Iron Rose hadn't come through, we might not be settled and happy with our location right now. I am an anxious person and was prepared for a HGTV-style reno nightmare BUT I had so much fun working with them! They touched every room and one year later, everything is still perfect. We hired Elizabeth mainly for her exquisite taste in design and colors included with that was an energy of excitement and the willingness to help us choose the perfect design and/or scheme for our home. (We interviewed 7 other Interior Designers before Elizabeth.) Always professional. Great ideas; showed us various styles for various rooms with specified colors and window treatments to match. Guesswork is taken away; meaning, we did not have to guess which style was going to work best in a particular room(s), we just had to pick the one we wanted. Overall, after 9 years in our current home, we still receive the highest of compliments from friends, guests and neighbors...a great feeling! Again, the scope of the work was for paint colors, window treatments and installation, furniture, accessories and space planning. Elizabeth does it all with great success!”

“Emery Design & Woodwork (Ryan and his team) did an outstanding job on our stairway remodel!!! We went from drab white spindles & boring carpet to fab rod iron spindles and solid hardwood stairs. :) They were very polite, timely, courteous, conscientious, and paid great attention to detail. They finished the project in the time they promised (major bonus!). If we had questions they took the time to make sure we were satisfied. Ryan was always available to answer our questions and hear our suggestions (and, believe me, we are very particular with our home!). “We initially hired McVey Home Improvement to remodel two bathrooms. The McVey team offered some excellent ideas for the remodeling with a reasonable price. We had interviewed other companies, but by far, the McVey presentation was the most professional. Once the project started, we were impressed by Mr. McVey's promptness, positive attitude and expertise. The two bathrooms were completed in a timely fashion -- we were so happy with the bathrooms, we immediately scheduled McVey Home Improvement to remodel an unfinished attic space. Just like the bathrooms, we were pleased with the attic presentation, the price, and the entire project. “Our complete kitchen overhaul began like most, wandering the big box stores, getting ideas through different media (magazines, new homes, internet, etc.). After months of investigating, we knew that we needed help –only that we desired quality design, products and construction preferably from a local contractor. Through word of mouth and closeness to home we stopped in at the Harris McClain showroom near Monroe. Our first impression was the layout and quality products in the showroom. Nicole walked us through the displays of cabinets, fixtures, countertops, and many other things we hadn’t thought of. Her knowledge of the operation is impressive. She described the complete services available – including virtual design and 3D displays of our new kitchen. She also showed examples of completed work. We had made our choice. It turned out to be a wise one at that. Scheduling was right on track, demolition and install began exactly when promised. The worksite (our home) remained clean and unobstructed each day during and after. These guys are true craftsmen. Rodney and Pat’s workmanship is second to none. Not to mention how personable and courteous they were to us at all times. It was a pleasure to invite them into our home. The whole experience was unexpectedly pleasant. Judging from reactions by friends and family, we definitely hit a home run with our new kitchen. Hats off to all the guys at Harris McClain!”
