“I spent a long time researching kitchen companies. Tried the usual big players with the huge showrooms with mixed reviews. Then I read about some of the German kitchen suppliers and fitters, and their reputation for quality. This led me to Kutchenhaus in Clifton, Bristol. Originally, I used their online kitchen design app, to give me a ballpark figure for price. This compared favourably to some of the larger competitors so I booked an appointment for a design. Although the showroom in Bristol is modest, it was enough to confirm that the quality of the kitchens was good and introduce me to rest of the range. Its smaller size also meant it felt like a more personal experience and we got to spend lots of time refining our design with the manager and kitchen designer. The design process was very good. The designer was able to help us create our vision and gave us plenty of options when it came to price and to help us refine what we did and didn't want. In the end, the design was a very good price and more affordable than some others. We did, however, choose to buy our own appliances, which helped bring the price down. The delivery experience was also first rate. Despite having driven through the night to make their deliveries, the (massive and German) deliverymen were considerate and courteous. Even though we had yet to finish the room the kitchen was to be fitted in, they did not make a fuss when we asked them to load the units up in a different room. There was not a single item missing and they were thorough checking off everything from the list. We chose to have the kitchen fitted by own our fitters, rather than those from Kutchenhaus but had nothing but compliments from our fitters. Not just because of the quality of the carcasses and the door fronts, but that all the accompanying fixings ensured it was pieced together well. If I had any criticism, it would be that the door front for the dishwasher stumped our fitters. However, Kutchenhaus did send one of their own fitters to do it and proved it was far easier than we originally thought! Other than that, I would readily recommend Kutchenhaus. It was a great experience throughout, a good price (with no misleading sales - the kitchen was cheaper than others, even those having a 'sale'), no high-pressure selling and I have nothing but good things to say about the quality and finish.”

“My husband and I engaged with Teresa of TME interiors after a search on the internet for interior designer professionals. We wanted to redo two of our rooms to create a sense of space, comfort and of course elegance. Our criteria for choosing a professional to work with was that the person was approachable, friendly, would work with us and guide us to create the most suitable look for our rooms, would be able to suggest colours and ideas and probably stretch our imagination with their knowledge and experience. Of the four people I contacted, Teresa fit the bill perfectly! She came home, took the measurements, spent a good two hours talking to us and taking notes, went away and in a matter of a few weeks, came back to us with ideas and a lovely presentation of the plan she had for us. It fit within our budget, she had appropriate options for us, and wonderful suggestions with colours and furniture. I have been looking at the plans she left us with and we have slowly started the work- I don't even want to go outside of her suggestsions as I think they are perfect! Her suggestions included the links where we could buy pieces and their prices (so all I need to do was click and order!). Very importantly, she understood our requirements of colour, aesthetics, cost and comfort. Her plans reduced the confusions we had in our minds! Teresa has been very professional and a wonderful 'artist' to work with. She is someone I would highly recommend and use in the future if we have any projects!”
