“Happy Kitchens were hired to re vamp my very tired kitchen turning it into a place of joy and happiness!! They replaced some doors, completely changing the surrounds to reflect the new colour and finish, you really cannot tell that they are my old cupboards they are sparkling. Happy Kitchens also added some new cupboards which are beautiful and practical. They integrated a dishwasher and covered my ugly boiler with a lovely cupboard to match the kitchen, this was a transformation. The fitter also worked tirelessly to ensure the finish was absolutely perfect he really went over and above and cannot recommend these guys enough. Ben is lovely to deal with also, so no horrible salesman will call - Just Ben :) I spend more of my time in my kitchen now and saved around £13k vs a quote from a leading DIY store :)”

“"The best part of working with Val Plummer is that she makes it all easy and fun! I had never worked with an Interior Designer before and wasn't wholly committed to the idea, I just wanted my things to look better and give me more pleasure. I have a tired mansion house flat in central London, small rooms, huge windows and too many possessions! I was about to splash out on new navy blue loose covers when I met Val accidentally and ended up not buying anything navy nor any loose covers! I now have a truly beautiful room which is both elegant and comfortable and which has made so many friends think that we had bought new things when we had not! Val helped me choose the right colours and fabrics for walls, curtains, sofas and cushions as well as lighting. She is so reliable and listens really well, she works to your budget and always gives you options. That particular project was in 2009, since that time Val has helped me renovate 4 bathrooms, upgrade a master bedroom, dining room and sitting room. I cannot recommend her too highly". “I wanted to put my house on the market for the second time - having had no success for being on the market for 10 months. I invited an independent agent to view and advise on marketing my home. Helen came recommended to me. Helen responded promptly - she was very pleasant and explained her services clearly - I was left with her company profile brochure and costings involved. She was clear and friendly and I wanted to work with her from that point. I decided to choose Helen and am extremely pleased of the outcome. On the first visit Helen went through each room and advised me what was needed to be done - I was impressed as Helen made sure that I didn't spend extensive amount of money as I was selling. She also said that if it was to be for my own use she would advice me differently. Written report followed shortly which was easy to follow for me and the decorators. Once the work was done and ready for viewing Helen came and added finishing touches - again very pleasant and professional. Although I was not able to finish 100% to her profile not a word was said to me in a negative/critical manner - utterly professional. My house is sold within ten days of advertising - yes it is the truth. I would recommend all sellers to use an interior designer - my concept was that this type of service is expensive but I have had an excellent service and result from Helen for a very reasonable cost.”
