““I can honestly say that dealing with hobsons|choice was a pleasure from start to finish. They were the only kitchen company who actually listened to the brief, and came back with drawings and designs which not only reflected what we wanted, but incorporated some brilliant new ideas. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their showrooms were so comprehensively equipped that I have ended up with a far better range of kitchen hardware than I had ever known existed – I cannot now imagine life without a steam oven, let alone my boiling water tap! Or the induction hob, come to that. They took responsibility for the whole project from start to finish, so that there was a seamless process from initial conversation through to returning home to a beautiful kitchen (with flowers, basic food and a bottle of champagne kindly provided by Richard Carter and his team). Our trust in hobsons|choice was entirely justified, and their after-sales service has been superb. There were no panic phone calls or queries while we were away, and we came back to find everything was perfect (except that after 48 hours of travel I had to ring them to find out how to work the coffee machine!). We have returned to them for further work, for dining furniture, and for a new bathroom. They designed a special shelving unit to blend with the olivewood cupboards, admired by everyone. Their workmen are of the highest calibre, and every detail is taken care of. Richard seemed to have an intuitive grasp of what I would like, and how I would want things to be, and that was very reassuring when you know you will be away for the entire project. hobsons|choice are a pleasure to deal with – two friends of mine are already using them thanks to my eulogies.””

“Nigel Wilson of Auspicious Furniture designed and built my kitchen and also my en suite bathroom cupboards. From the outset Nigel contributed many excellent ideas, while always taking into account my own. He spent a long time in the flat talking the project through, paying great attention to the aesthetics of the job as well as the practicalities. I live in a converted, Grade II listed, woollen mill and we both wanted the work, while being modern and functional, to fit in with the character of the mill. There were also unusual technical problems to overcome in a converted industrial building and Nigel always came up with solutions with great flair and creativity. The quality of the work and materials was exceptionally high and the whole project extremely good value. I was so pleased with the result that I went back to Nigel a few months later to make cabinets and bookshelves for my bedroom and study and window shutters for the study and kitchen. He is a craftsman who cares.”

“We were really impressed by Sustainable Kitchens from the start; our demands were quite particular to start with and got even more picky as time went on, and yet their answer was almost always an unfaltering "Yes!". Other high-end companies we approached quoted a higher price for something that was not bespoke and was therefore much clunkier in design. Sustainable Kitchens took care of everything, understood our every need and had a great perfectionist's eye for detail, for example in the scribing around the stones in our walls. It took under three weeks to go from our old kitchen to a fully functioning new one. Everything about the kitchen feels and looks beautiful and I am finding myself recommending them to anyone who will listen.”

“I've worked with Contour Kitchens on a number of projects and met both their staff and clients. The finished kitchens have all been designed and installed to the highest standard with clean finishes and attention to detail. I'm always intrigued to see the new design features and appliances that have been installed such as the Quooker tap or the Bora hob with integrated extractor fan. There is always a great rapport between the staff and clients when I've met everyone on site at the end stage of projects. “What a fantastic kitchen I now have. A well known highstreet kitchen outlet promised to discount the kitchen I wanted by 75% and still came out more expensive than Refaceit Interiors! Andrew and Keith skilfully installed a great quality kitchen for a fair price. They pay so much attention to detail and insist on perfection before they are happy with their work. They are professional, thorough, great time keepers and clean and tidy. Cannot recommend Refaceit Interiors enough. Love my kitchen!”

“We are just about to complete a renovation project on our old cottage and took the step of employing Caroline Dunn Design. It was our first foray into using a professional designer and the whole experience has been a very positive one. Caroline provided designs for our kitchen, ensuite bathroom and shower room. During a home visit she went to a great deal of trouble to ascertain our lifestyle, priorities and budget. She then produced at least 3 designs for each of the rooms, followed by detailed plans and images as well as product suggestions. Using Caroline's design we purchased our kitchen from DIY Kitchens (whom we also highly recommend), and the fitter commented on the extreme usefulness of the virtual images that Caroline produced. The positives of employing Caroline Dunn Design were numerous but high on the list was that it gave us freedom to consider our options without any rush or pressure, and the ability to source products from the internet and local suppliers most cost effectively. We are convinced that without Caroline's unerring professionalism and design skills during all stages of the project the transformation of our home would not have been achieved.”

“From the day Chris arrived at my house, I knew I was in good hands, and this continued throughout the entire procedure. Nothing was too much trouble and I was helped all along the way with encouragement but never pushiness.Amy and Gabrielle were there to advise throughout and the installation was quick and efficient , with a minimum of disruption or mess. The kitchen , tiling and little extra touches were done with expertise and enthusiasm that is rare these days. I have a kitchen I could only have dreamed of and the gasps of admiration I get from everyone that sees it , prove what a great job was done. I would recommend The Kitchen Broker to anyone without hesitation.”
